Affordable, yet nice alternative
These are not as thick as the branded ones, such as those from Pearce. Quality-wise, they are still good rubbers and offer decent grip and ergonomics. Afterall, the idea of having finger grooves on the front of the pistol grip is fading over the years, but this is still a decent aesthetic mod for some folks including me. Upon installation, you will realize that you have to stretch it just a bit to snap over the raised part on the pistol frame. I personally do prefer this stretch coz it helps keep a tight fitment against the grip.

Weird texture but overall best bang for your buck
Had to stretch it to fit, and trim it slightly on the right side to fit the safety well. Overall shape is great but the rubber is almost slick. Kind of reminds me of a rubberized plastic vs actual rubber. Can’t argue with the price though. 2 for $10, also had to trim it to fit a bobtail style 1911 and noticed the injection molding seemed really thin at the corners. If you want to keep your stock grips and have a little more ergonomics than this is the option for you. If you want only more grip and don’t care for stock grips than get a hogue one.

Get ready to trim these to fit your pistol.
These are just ok. The screw holes lined up properly. The finger groves are molded in the right place. I wish the rubber was a little tackier. My biggest issue was that there was overhang from underneath the industry standard sized grips I have and also my magazine would not seat properly. I had to take a pair of scissors and trim it down so it looked nice and there was no magazine interference. Honestly though, for the price I wasn't expecting much and these will work fine for my needs now that they are trimmed to fit. If I was going to do it again I would probably just buy an overmolded Hogue grip. They don't look as cool as having classic 1911 panel grips but they are designed to perfection.
