I'm a longtime user of alpha lipoic acid, but it's been pretty much on and off, over the years. Now that I'm "aging", there are particular benefits to taking this that make it very attractive. There is support for aging, of course. But there is also benefit to be had for the metabolism, live, neurological system, cardio system, and it has a very positive impact on inflammation. You'll notice that there is a common thread in all of this. They are all increasing concerns as one ages. I have been told that I have a "fatty liver", probably a result of the health-less American fast food diet. Now it's something I'm concerned about. ALA (alpha lipoic acid) can address that. I like this product very much, but I have to admit that for a thirty day supply (2 capsules per day) it's on the higher end of the price spectrum. Still, a solid product. I recommend ALA to anyone having any of these concerns, or if you simply wish to improve your general health.

I got this because it was suggested to me that alpha-lipoic acid may help with depleted sense of taste due to covid. So far, tastebuds are about the same as they were before starting. Not feeling any change in energy or sensing uptick in metabolism. Not sure if this is doing anything, but I'm gonna keep going until the bottle is done. The capsules are easy to swallow. Well tolerated, no upset stomach or nausea etc.

I have been taking Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) for years based on my doctor’s advice. I have tried different brands throughout that time, but I have never tried the Vimerson Health brand until now. So far, I’m really impressed by this good, clean supplement. It’s easy to swallow, causes no stomach issues, has no odor or flavor, and appears to be a good quality product. My main reason for taking this supplement is for the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and overall general health benefits. To get the 650mg of ALA from this product, two capsules are required per day, so this bottle ends up being a month-supply. Compared to what I usually take, that seems to be a fairly usual dosage, so that’s very conveneint for me. I appreciate that there are so few additives to this supplement, and that it is GMO, Gluten, Dairy, and Soy Free. So far, I’m really enjoying this product, and I look forward to hopefully experiencing the many health benefits it may provide.

There's no mention of which of the Alpha Lipoic Acid this contains. S is evidently no so good while R is better but difficult to find. I can't tell the difference when I'm taking it and it is not a factor for me when I select ALA. This comes in a sealed and dated container. The supplement is easy to take with no after taste.

I have recently started adding vitamins to my diet and I thought this ALA supplement would be a great one to add. As I have researched how to find quality vitamins, I learned that one should always make sure the vitamin company has used a 3rd party testing facility to confirm the ingredients are true to what they say they are and in the correct amount. And this company states it uses such parties. I have been taking them for about 2 weeks now without any adverse effects. But because it has only been 2 weeks, I can't speak to any benefits they have provided. They are easy to swallow, and I appreciate that I don't have to take one in am and one in pm... you take 2pills at one time. So far, so good.
