Of course I put a green ink into a Transparent Green Pen, and I picked up J. Herbin Vert de Gris—a lovely ink and it flows flawlessly from the Asvine's stainless steel, surprisingly bouncy nib. I bought the Fine nib and it's a smooth writer with a little flex to it, and the feed is juicy enough to cope with laying down a nice amount of ink to show of the shading of the ink I chose without skipping, and not once has this pen failed to start first time even after more than a few days idle. I really can't recommend this pen highly enough, especially if you've been looking at the V800 as well and consider it to be a bit too girthy—the V126 seems identical but slimmer and possessing a #6 Nib instead of the whopping #8.
