good value and work perfectly for the job intended

Does not work at all on my Corsair RM550x PSU. At first it does not fit into the PSU at all. I found out there is a connection between two headers (the blue plastic) while the Corsair PSU does not have. I figured out how to plug in eventually. However the PC won't power up at all after pressing the Power button. Futhermore when I change back to my original cable, after all EZ Debug LED went off, all components work properly and fan spins as normal, the monitor won't turn on at all. That made me freaked out and I almost believe my graphics card brokes. Luckily PC goes normal now after a BIOS flashback. Indicates that the PSU may stopped working because of voltage protection when this cable was plugged in.I bought this product as it seems like this is the only 8 pin to dual PCI-E 8 pin (6 + 2) SLEEVED cable available on Amazon as my PSU is an 8 pin PCI-E port with my 8 + 6 pin graphics card. I need a tidier look in my case as the original Corsair cable seems messy on the graphics card side.However... it's not working so I have to arrange a refund...I also don't understand why different brands have to make their own standard on the exact same type of PSU connectors, why shouldn't they try to establish a common standard? Just like the USB port nowadays right??This is a really time wasting product after I did nothing to my PC. So the product should really add a warning that only work with SilverStone PSUs to prevent any misleading to the customers!
