My washing machine is now usable again!
Poor design by LG. These always fail in same area due to a design weakness. However replacement are cheap and can be fitted in 15 minutes. All you need is a screwdriver.

Perfect replacement part.
Excellent fit for my LG washing machine, took about 30 minutes to replace having never taken a washing machine door apart before. Would recommend taking a picture of old fitting before disassembly.

This was purchased to replace the original item which broke. Found a few helpful vieos online and did the job myself. It was a bit fiddly but no real dramas. Now we can get the washing out of the machine. Hurrah!
