Disappointing
I purchase the blue Daawat brand in USA. I expected the same superior quality while visiting the UK. This is nothing like what I purchase in USA. This is an extremely short grain. I am disappointed. Not what I was expecting!

overcharging
absolute rubbish sellers. selling the 5 kg and the 10 kg rice bag at way high prices than in the market. the rice grains are small and not even tasteful for south asian food. i would not recommend to anyone. awful!

Nochmal würde ich ihn nicht bestellen. Er ist wenig aromatisch, lässt sich aber gut kochen und ist besser als manch einer aus dem Supermarkt.

Erstklassiger Reis zu einem fairen Preis
Ich kaufe inzwischen nur noch Dawaat Reis. Dieser hier ist etwas neutraler und kürzer im Korn als die Variante in der grünen Packung. Diese Reisvariante passt praktisch überall, wo man Reis haben möchte. Die grüne Variante nehme ich gerne, wenn explizit Basmati-Reis gewünscht ist. Inzwischen kaufe ich die 5kg bzw. 10kg Abpackungen, weil der Reis in durch den Reißverschluss im Beutel gut geschützt bleibt, auch im Keller.
