I'm not sure how some people are ending up 'baked-in' tawa surface after cooking. --- After Six(6) months usage. We now have two in our family circle. Wheat/Sorghum rotis can be baked without using a flip-spoon, bare hands to flip (tough hands). If you end up with baked-in tawa (oil is stuck on tawa surface from shallow fry or oily dishes), then wash the tawa while it's still warm. Warmer temps will help clean baked-in oil on the surface. Cleaning baked-in surface will take longer to scrub-off as expected. Never use steel/metal brushes on the tawa.

What a beautiful experience it is to use this tawa! There are certain things which should be avoided in order to maintain the quality of the product. 1. Strictly use it for dry cooking like roti. Little butter and ghee for Paratha or Pancakes doesn't hurt. But do not try making an omelette or any other oily thing on it. 2. Some brown texture may pop up post cooking, caused due to ghee/butter/oil. Gentle scrubbing works just fine while washing. Looks like an evergreen product as long as it is carefully used and washed!

Value for money . Good size and quality of the base and top layer is very good
