Wind-up Pirate Ship (Wind-up Books)

Our grandson liked it very much. The boat performed as described.

Excellent book, great toy for my grandson. He learns and enjoys playing with it for hours. Well made, looking forward to other books like this.

I really love USBORNE books and have a few wind up books. The pirate ship is a really fun book but we did get it used and, no fault of the book manufacturer, but the mast was missing from the ship. Fortunately the seller did accept the book back and we were fully refunded. I really did like the book and might buy it new since we already have almost all the wind up books! They have really great books.

My 3 yr. old grandson was thrilled with this book...we live on a lake and when he comes; we go out on the paddle boat' he is always doing a treasure hunt. Pirate Ship had him remembering the time on the paddle boat with grandpa & grandma. I just hope the little wind up ship lasts.

This book is wonderful. The little ship moves around the pages on a track. We have another book similiar and my 3 children (ages 5, 3 and 18 months) all love these stories. It is a big and heavy book, so not easily carried around. But great for an interactive read.

The sail off the boat did break within just a week of owning. I tried glueing it but its just so small it didn't hold. My son still loves it and plays with it often. I just think the small toy boat is fragile and not as well made as the book itself. I think a die-cast wind up would be better.

Cute book I found this at a garage sale and bought it for my grandson. He loved it so I bought this one as a shower gift, as the parents are both teachers and requested books.

Great book for toddlers! A lot of laughs, my son's favorite book before bedtime.

My son opened this Christmas morning, when we popped the boat out of the plastic casing we noticed the sails had all snapped off and were only held together by the plastic :(

My little granddaughter loved this book. As well as the wind up toy there is lots of pictures and things to discuss within the book.

I have purchased this series of small trains and buses before, and their maps can be dismantled and assembled into large maps, but unfortunately this one cannot. So this book is more suitable for children, older children may find the map a little small and boring
