Rapid boiling, sturdy handled sleeve, awesome for fire-less cooking
I love how fast water boils, i love that it can pack up quickly. I use mine mainly as a coffee kettle , my teen loves it for ramen, and as a hot pot, as he puts it. The first three uses the lid warped, I emailed the company, they sent me out a lid but said it was lost in shipping, I need the lid, so the company made it right, said I bought an older version and sent me an upgrade, best customer service and an awesome product! I have brought it to work with me to heat up soup, make popcorn and to heat up chili. I will be purchasing another for my adult son. Durability is great, easy clean, although you canโt submerge in water the cup portion is wide so I can get my hand and a sponge in there. Use filtered water to cook, I use spring water, I donโt use tap water because it leaves what looks like hard water stains. But it does scrub out just takes a bit of work. This is seriously one of the best products I have purchased, I usually carry a small 720 watt battery pack for charging my younger child speech device, headphones and other accessories he requires so if I take them all to the park I pack this as well, if they want hot chocolate while out in the cold, bingo, makes them happy. This kettle pot blows the plug in car cup out of the water! Different sleeve designs so you can choose if buying from the company website, the sleeve makes it tolerable to hold but be careful while pouring. That lid needs to snap on tight. This is definitely something I will be taking with me camping, the boil time is way faster than the stove for boiling water to make coffee (I use a coffee press) and this is definitely something that is durable as long as itโs kept free of water from the buttons, electric components. The stirring rod it comes with is definitely durable , I keep it at the bottom of my to go bag so it doesnโt get lost, itโs definitely needed for stirring, to me itโs better than trying to use a camping spoon, you wonโt scratch the kettle pot, no worries about that. Overall definitely a product I would recommend to otherโs, this company stands by their product and customer service support is amazing! I will definitely buy again.

Stoke Voltaics Makes it Right-Great Product, Great Customer Service
I do not often post reviews, and rarely ever do I post a 5 star review. I am doing so because I absolutely appreciate the product offered here AND because of the amazing customer service from Stoke Voltaics. I received this product, originally, a couple years ago, based on the review of a Youtube influencer for the purposes of camping out of my SUV. The kettle performed very well on both shore power and using my jackery 500. It does draw a good portion of energy, so bear that in mind if you plan to use the kettle on a portable power system. It takes a few minutes to heat up, which is fine. If you are reheating a stew, you would not want it to burn. Once it gets hot, however, it gets very hot. Also, I since purchased the french press attachment. The company sent me, separately, the stirrer upon my order here. Moving forward to a ocuple years after purchase, however, I found that my lid would not seal directly onto the kettle. This could be due to storing the kettle in my vehicle in hot and cold temperatures, as I keep it in microcamper mode throughout most of the year. You may think this would lead me to post, probably a 3.5 star review, however, I reached out to the company to see if they could help me obtain a new lid. I planned to try to purchase the part as I was just outside warranty. They advised me that, they had since made improvements to the product and could not sell or send me a separate lid to remedy my situation. Instead, customer care sent me an entirely new kettle, stirrer, AND french press. I received the updated kettle a few days ago and it has worked wonderfully. I have been able to share lunch with my mother in her nursing home, cooking soup, making a small serving of popcorn to share, and making coffee. This leads me to my five star review, because Stoke Voltaics very obviously stands behind the product and did everything (BEYOND) to make sure this customer could still, safely, enjoy the product. I look forward to many years of continued use of my kettle, especially for camping, but also to reheat soups and warm, cozy meals with my mother.

Great Idea, Poor execution for coffee.
The water boils quickly, but the lid is terrible and the coffee press concept is an epic fail. Pouring coffee is a mess! For starters, the lid leaks when pouring and wonโt seal tight. Add that the press plunger is sticking out of the top and flapping around and needs stabilized. The handle is made of cloth and not stable. With all of these combined issues a good portion of the coffee and grounds pour out along the side of the unsealed lid.As far as coffee goes, whatโs left of it does not taste that great because the plunger does not create a tight seal. The plunger also does not fit down inside the kettle for travel. It seems like someone measured the kettle height and determined the plunger โpoleโ length, forgetting that nearly one third of the โkettleโ height does not store water, but contains the heating element of the unit. (Sigh)Edit: Iโm updating my review to 4 stars. The company reached out to me immediately to send another unit for review. Very good customer service, which means something. This one seems to have a tighter lid and boils fast. I still donโt think I would recommend as a coffee press though. The seals are not tight enough and itโs awkward to pour with the plunger engaged. Grade โAโ for kettle. Grade โCโ for coffee press.

Doesnโt measure up
Even though I have several cooking devices for my camper van - including solar - I was looking forward to having this kettle as a means to cook up a quick bite. I liked the compactness of it and fell for the hype that surrounds this kettle.I was willing to overlook the hefty price of $79.00. For that kind of money I could buy 3 kettles from other vendors. I was willing to overlook that it is not easy to clean.I was willing to overlook that it had no spout for easy pouring. I was willing to overlook how small the portion of the food is.However when I opened the box I lost my appetite. The lid is the cheapest plastic there is, borderline repulsive. I eat organic for a reason. I donโt wish to sip my beverages through a junky plastic lid. Also, the lid has a bunch of holes in it that I donโt find practical when cooking. All in all I donโt find this kettle worth having.

Great kettle, poor lid.
I bought this over a year ago to use at work during the winter, and it's easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. It heats up fast on eat mode, which is great for my short lunch breaks. The only real problem is the lid. It simply cannot be seated properly so it doesn't stay on. I've strained corn and vegetables without spilling, but have to hold the lid on with my free hand. Hopefully they've improved the lid by now though. It's also a bit awkward to wash since the pot can't be separated from the electrics. I usually push the sleeve down to the bottom to keep the base dry. I know it's safer and probably heats faster due to this design, but it has made me reluctant to try anything outlandish like poaching an egg or using it to heat microwavable foods. Some tips: For ramen, boil the water on drink mode then switch to eat mode while it cooks. Once the noodles soften it actually stirs itself. Pretty cool. For thick soups, baked beans , etc. you'll want to stir frequently on eat mode or you may get burnt stuff stuck to the bottom. If that happens boiling a bit of water afterwards makes it easy to remove most of the mess. I can't wash it at my workplace so I always boil some water afterwards with the lid on (insofar as possible) then let it cool before dumping.

Good idea, but bad execution: I won't use it as much as I thought I would
I really wanted to be excited for this boiler but I'm not. I've been using it for a while and here is my review. Good build quality and fast action with modest draw from your camp battery. It's sturdy and compact, I like the sleeve that insulates the main (hot) body) and I like the options to select three different cooking levels: boiling water (auto stop), simmering food and pop (for pop-corn, obviously). What I don't like: auto-shut off hasn't been working in boiling mode since day one. I usually stop it myself but I've been in a coupe of situations where I was not there and the boiler kept on going, wasting electricity (precious assets when you're off the grid) and evaporating water (same - precious asset where you're off-grid). Second grievance is that the usable size of the "cooking" container is very little, it's not rare to be forced to build two full pots, which is not a big deal if you're boiling water, but it gets messy if you're cooking food. From here I go to my third grievance: it would be nice to be able to separate the cooking pot from the electric furnace part for cleaning, it gets messy. Final thing that I don't like is the temperature of the "simmering" is too high and food bills and burns. So it's either they make that temperature adjustable, or it has to have a lower setting from the factory. I do not recommend this product, sorry.

Very handy portable tea maker
This mug is basically a stainless steel cup with a 500 watt heater element on the bottom. It says you should only put 473ml in it but I can put way more. Seems that manufacturer puts that limit if you let it reach a violent boil. But I fill it close the the top, like 650-700ml, and heat it for 6min for it to reach steamy hotness for my tea. I get a great amount and the 6min is enough time for my tea to steep properly.I also used it to heat up water to pour into a small ramen-sized plastic container for, guess what, ramen noodles. Literally perfect fit.It comes with its own 3 prong power cable which is a decent length and comes with its own tiedown thingy. Nice for cable management when the mug is in my bag.Over the long term, this mug will save me time and money in not walking to the nearest Tim Hortons and the ramen noodles are a nice light snack on the job instead of going to the jobsite's coffee truck and getting scammed $8 for a day old bacon and egg sandwich and $2 can of pop.If they do a 2.0 version, then I hope they fix my only minor gripe with the product and thats the lid, you need to modify your drinking technique or a couple of drops of liquid will sneak past your lips XD. But that isn't a real deal breaker for me for this cup. The handiness of it more than makes up for it. I saw there are some other usb-type heaters like this but the power limit of usb is only 100-140 watts, way too slow for water. You'd be waiting 20 minutes to get a hot temperature.
