Works great! Seems to be very accurate. I had placed another review complaining that it would not be delivered on time, but Amazon provided an incorrect delivery date, the company delivered on time with a quality product. My only issue is that it is not a smart device.

This is the second monitor kit I’ve bought from this company and I’ve noticed how inaccurate/inconsistent the test results have been compared to the last kit. This morning I did 4 tests back to back because the results were so wildly different. The first test result said 41. I immediately tested another finger and got 119. Then I tested another finger and got 89. And then just to see if it was the strips I tested the last finger with a clean strip and got 104. I have been testing because I’m taking meds that temporarily spike my blood pressure and sugar after each dose. These test results were fasting before meds or breakfast. I’m not sure if this was a bad batch of strips or if there is a problem with the monitor. I’d return the kit except that I’ve opened it and used some. The first time I bought this kit a year or so ago, it worked fine and the results tracked with what my dr and I expected which is why I bought another kit of the same brand. I may buy another batch of strips to see if they’re any better. I’m disappointed because I liked the display and functionality of this model and it’s small enough to be portable and discreet. Updated 24 March After reading my review, the seller reached out to me offering an apology, a full refund, and a replacement. I am happy to report that the replacement kit is just as accurate and reliable as the first set I bought more than a year ago. I've been using the new kit for about a week now and the results are pretty much as expected. So I've revised my rating to 5 stars and I will definitely be buying this brand again. Kudos to the seller - Max Health Helper - for standing by their product and understanding what customer service means.

Im very pleased with this product. My doctor prescribed me one and it was almost 200.00 for the device and A 3 months supply. I will be using this from now on. Thank you for making it affordable.

Well, after a couple of hours of tinkering, I still don't know how to use this dumb thing. I managed to get the batteries in, turn it on, and note that the time and date need to be set. The QR thing that allegedly takes me to the instructional video doesn't work, the print in the user manual is too tiny to read, and the pictures illustrating how to use the meter--if you can get it set up--aren't too clear. My pulse and blood pressure are soaring, and who knows what my glucose is doing. I can't check it. My IQ is not the problem here. This thing is simply not accessible for senior citizens. If you are a 20 something tech whiz with 20/20 vision, perhaps it is simple. I am merely a 77 year old with an advanced education. I fail. So does this device.

This glucose meter is straightforward and handy to carry around. Every now and then, though, it shows numbers that seem way off – but then again, maybe I'm not using it properly?

I get wildly different measurements if I repeat the test 4-5 consecutive times. The readings can range from 40 to 100 within a few seconds of each other. The device is easy to use and compact, but this much variety in readings within a few seconds of each other makes the device useless. I am not sure if the kit I got is defective. **Adjusting my review** I bought a new box of strips for the device and the measurements are coming out quite consistently. It appears that the strips I was using were faulty. The seller reimbursed me for my purchase. I would purchase this device again.
