Does the lip pour well without spilling? Could you use this as a carafe to serve multiple people?

It is amazing as a mug, but I probably would not use it for a carafe. I like it because it is easy to hold, albeit a little heavy wind fall and it keeps my coffee hot for a very long time. The only downfall of this bug is that it does not fit in cupholders in my truck. I guess that is why it has a rubber bottom so that it can sit on a dashboard without falling.
