Dimensions Needlepoint Kit, Floral Splendor, 14'' x 14'',Red

When reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about it. I loved the picture so thought I would try it. Yes, at times it is a little hard to differentiate the colors, but I staple the guide next to where I am stitching and it is much easier to follow. I have only done a small section and I can tell it is going to be beautiful. I am not an expert crafter. It might be too much for a beginner. The was the threads are laid out is excellent. Easy to find the right color.

This is the most difficult needlepoint project I’ve ever done. There is a printed pattern on the mesh but it can be hard to distinguish one shade from another. There are many color sections that are only 1-3 stitches. The paper pattern is in black and white with a number code for each color. This pattern can be very hard to read. If you are experienced and patient, this could be a very satisfying project!

This needlepoint kit gives you yarn, but wants you to split the yarn into strands. After you split the line into two strands from 4 strands, which is what they recommend for the piece of work… They’re too thin. You can see a lot of space between stitches on the canvas when it’s only two strands. It needs the full four strands. For this reason I wouldn’t buy any of the needlepoint kits from this company. They’re being way too cheap for the price of these kits. You’d think for $40… They could give you enough yarn that you could use the right amount so that the canvas when finished looks full.

This was obviously used, rolled into a ball and stuck in the bag above. The ball of all of the yarns tangled together included a needle ( already threaded )rolled in there! The diagram for the yarn colors is cut off…only showing 1/3 of the piece. Looks as if you need to GUESS the colors of the other 2/3 s. A complete MESS!

My daughter has never expressed an interest in needlepointing til Covid happened and now she's all gung ho stitching away. Its a complicated enough design that its really keeping her interest and making her proud to be creating a little work of art for her flowered sofa.

Love doing this tapestry. The colours are vibrant and it's going to be beautiful when finished. Would highly recommended at the price.

Vibrant needlework picture true to picture . I bought it for my neighbor and she is thrilled . It is noteworthy that the picture is done in wool thread , for a thicker dimension .
