These are great in removing my eye makeup without getting cotton wool or fibres in my eyes. I have dry eye, these are a godsend.

These cotton pads can be used for a whole host of things from make-up removal to dressing wounds, but I got them to allow me to wipe my eyes after a cataract operation. The pads are nice & soft, and their integrity was not compromised once water was added to them. They allowed me to wipe my eyes without fear of them shedding fibres. I was a little surprised though by how they came, just stacked in a standard cardboard box

The generous sized pads can be used for cleaning wounds or cut to size to use as dressings and taped in place. The pads won't be pulled apart, but can be easily torn. They can also be used simply as wipes for sticky fingers or small spills, and 100 is a generous number. They are folded into four, so the pack takes up very little space. A cheap alternative to keeping a stock of assorted plasters (which are so seldom the right size).

I ordered these cloths because the listing said they were cotton, for someone who is allergic to synthetics. They arrived in a plain cardboard box with paper banding holding the cloths together (see picture) and nothing for storage during use, so some sort of holder/dispenser will be necessary. But the fabric they are made from doesn't look like cotton. It looks the thin non-woven interfacing I've used when sewing silk, and I suspected it was synthetic. So I did a burn test. The fabric burned with a thick, black, very acrid smoke, and the fabric burned not to the flakey ash that cotton produces, but a hard black lump. This is what is expected from synthetics. So the cloths are no good for the purpose I wanted them. They may be OK for people happy with using synthetics - they are soft and absorbant. Disappointing!

This is the second seller I have used for similar towels and again top marks for packing economy. A plain box wrapped with a brown paper. All you need to secure these good quality cloths. They are strong and stretchable and I use them for everything from mopping-up spills to cleaning glasses. Prices vary, so best to search around.

I like that these arrived very simply packaged in a box and wrapped with a strip of paper, no plastic in sight. You get 100 pads, great for use as dressings for wound or to use as face cleansing cloths. They are a decent thickness and feel very soft to use. At £8.89 for the pack of 100, these are well priced, as they will last for a while.

These are exactly as described, gauze pads of 10x10 size. They came bound together in a small box and so have been very easy to use just the number I need to each time while keeping the remainder clean. The pads feel good quality, they have been good for both cleansing wounds and providing padding for additional comfort. I'm very happy with the quality and size of these pads

I am happy with these pads and finds them nice as makeup remover because they are soft and gentle on the skin. They are flexible large enough 20×20 cm. Unlike the usual cotton disc, they have no lint which I find better for cleaning the face. Reasonable price of £9 for 100 pieces which should last me 3 months. I only wish if they came in a better box, like tissue box for example, hence one star down.
