**Q: could I fit 3 sets of these 2u extender brackets into a 6u rack, or would they bump into each other?**
A: Never tried it but I do not see why not. Also you can certainly get 4u extenders and have you checked for a 6u extender. Also look at your rack to see it you can simply move the main bars forward, most are adjustable, as you want to extend all 6us of you 6u rack.

Fitted my rack perfectly and does the job, if your rack mounted unit is heavy you might get a little twisting though
