Love these!
I purchased these to send bookmarks to my readers and was pleasantly surprised. They are bright and vivid (a much-needed break from the mundane white envelopes) and are easy to write the addresses on. They don't stick as well as I wish they did, but that was easily remedied with a small piece of tape.All in all, I was pleased with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Make Sure You Know That These Are Black
So... I was looking for envelopes, and I didn't want the kind with the little window (too formal) or the square-ish kind (can't put a tri-fold letter in there) and I also didn't want 500 of them (too many). So, 100 long envelopes with no window? Perfect!However, as my wife asked me when I took these out of the package, "How are you going to address them if they're black?"This was an excellent point. I now have to either buy a gel pen, or some white sticky labels, making the entire operation much more expensive AND extensive than it would have been to just buy a 20 pack of envelopes from CVS. Oh well... I thought the black color looked cool, and of course I didn't think about actually WRITING on them...Anyway, these are a nice, typical envelope material and thickness. They don't have any security printing, but do have a pull-to-remove adhesive strip that runs the length of the flap (see photo), so no licking is required. And as black envelopes, they look fancy! You just have to solve the problem of how you write on them. I am now going to have to use return address labels, blank labels, and other accoutrements instead of just writing in pen on the dang envelope. Ah well... it's more of a production now than I wanted, but I send so few letters these days anyway that they might as well look awesome when I do send them. Right!?
