do the flaxseeds in this mask expire or go rancid?

they do loose the fragrance within a month or so - but so far there has been no rancid smell. i didn't see an expiration date anywhere, but even without the fragrance, it is a nice cover for the eyelids while trying to fall asleep

Are there any synthetic fibers or polyester or is it entirely pure silk?
