Great mid-quality set with fun features
The media could not be loaded. This is a really fun set at a good price. It’s not hobby-grade quality, but has enough extra features and at a good price to warrant a 5 star review. The overall quality and feel of the track, controllers, and cars I would call “toy-grade”. Very good toy-grade, but not on-par with the old sets from the good old 80’s. The track itself is lightweight and comes apart fairly easily. You can still drive for a few minutes without have to squeeze some track pieces back together, but it comes apart enough to be annoying. I recommend putting it on a rubbery surface to help with track stability. The full track slid around a bit on the table shown in my video - once I put it on some rubber flooring it was stable and held together a bit better. This set does have some really great features! You can control the maximum throttle with a plastic hand-screw at the bottom of the controller. Very helpful with my children so the cars aren’t perpetually flying off the track. Also, the cars aren’t magnetized which greatly helps with their track stability. It has little jumps, loops, and a turbo button (the cars will immediately fly off the track with turbo unless they are on a straight away). There you have it - not nice enough where you want to hide it away and only gingerly play with it all by yourself late at night after the kids have gone to bed. But it IS a very fun toy to share with your family and friends. For that reason it gets 5 stars from me.

Cars have brush contacts/no replacement cars.
The included 3 cars run clockwise on the track and have brush contacts that I assume will eventually wear out. I see no solution for that on the mfg. website. No replacement cars either. I tried AFX brand Mega G+ cars (emphasis on “plus” because I don’t know anything about Mega G without the plus). They will run this track in reverse orientation (counter-clockwise) so you can’t mix and match brands in the same head-to-head race. Another downfall on AFX mega G + is that they get hung-up on these loops by their ends, though I am very pleased to see they do run at all, and I believe that when the included brush contact cars’ brushes wear out, the track will still be useable if I remove the track loops and banked turn (made up of the same loop-style curved track section pieces). Then I will try to run the Mega G+ cars exclusively in their counter-clockwise orientation. In counterclockwise orientation, they zip over the lap counter making it miss the lap count. The track sections work their way apart occasionally leaving gaps that need to be adjusted back together a little, as they just don’t snap together with a “click”. The track sections are not compatible with AFX branded track pieces, so adding on more track is proprietary in that regard. Bear in mind this large track is 1/4 or 1/5 the cost of an AFX track of comparable size. The track quality isn’t quite as durable, but I would say it still exceeds expectations for the 72 dollar price tag, and I would like to see the option to purchase replacement cars from the mfg. in the near future. The set came with 2 replacement brushes that can be changed in. I should also mention that AFX Mega G+ cars run about $40 each, so the cost of buying 2 new cars is the cost of replacing this whole set. The nice thing about AFX cars and the reason I even discuss them is that the contact shoes, tires, and some gear components can be easily replaced without buying new cars or a whole new track set. Saves on wasting excessive plastic.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and fast
My grandson loved his present. It didn't take long to assemble and was well made with easy to understand picture assembly directions. He actually took it apart and re arranged the track several times the first two days to have fun with different configurations. The ability to control speed was a plus to get acclimated to the tracks ability. I know some reviews talk about customer service not great, but that was not my experience. It was given as a gift on Thanksgiving day and one of the cars stopped working within the first hour of play. I wrote the company the next morning and got a response within hours. They directed me to the right department to get the car replaced and by the next morning a new car was being shipped out. So for right now, it was a purchase that was well worth it and brought hours of fun in the first few days of owning it. I would recommend this track.

Garbage!
The media could not be loaded. I chose this set since it was a little more expensive than most it's size. I really didn't want my son to open up something that was junk from Santa on Christmas morning. I failed for choosing this one. I have an electrical background and understand how the polarity on motors work so I know what's wrong. They hooked up the tracks wrong internally so one car goes one way while the other car goes the other way. Due tonthe way the counter works, it does not allow the car to go backwards, so we weren't able to use this.Don't waste your money on this. I only messed with it for an hour or so since it didn't work properly, but could tell it is very flimsy and won't last long.

Race Track Review
Love this track! Super fast and the cars can remain on the track if you know how to control the speed. Would like to see that the track can be expanded for more loops and criss cross tracks.

Lots of fun!
I ordered this for my kids and they absolutely love it. It was easy to assemble and works as advertised.
