Palmetto Vermiculite Company 4 Cubic Foot Planting Soil Additive (Perlite)

in my backyard garden, I have a lot of clay in my soil and this vermiculite has helped to loosen the soil for roots of tomatoes, peppers, squash, and beans. It’s certainly is easier to till and seemingly to allow watering to reach the wide route growth areas. Great stuff for me and very economical.

I have raised garden beds. This allows me to control the condition of the soil much easier than planning directly into the ground. I often use additives like Perlite and Vermiculite to help improve soil conditions. I feel the benefit I get from these products is worth the price.

This was nice, fine vermiculite. It's easy to use for starting seeds and propagating plants!

I purchased the perlite to use as an amendment to brand name potting soil; the manufacturer has changed the formula over the years to a heavier, slower-draining soil mix. The little bags of perlite available at local hardware stores were getting so expensive. This was a great affordable alternative and shipped right to my door!
