Repair Mode Bond Building Nail Serum | Keratin Protein Nail Strengthening Treatment | For Stronger Nails & Nail Growth

**Update: it's been over 6 months and now I use this every polish change. The results are just unbelievable. I can go without polish, and my nails grow long and strong! It's the first time in my life I can say that. I now combine with hard as hoof cream and regular cuticle oiling and can't say enough great things about how much this has transformed my nails. No more soft spots or bending. Background: 11 years of gel manicures, occasional dip manicures, press-ons, and a recent run of semi-solid gel strips left me with brittle, split, ridged, and overall damaged nails. I almost never have taken a break between polish changes during that entire time. I was using Gemini AI to help come up with a plan to heal my nails, and one recommendation was this product + Nail Envy. I diligently applied this twice a day for 6 days, even taking it with me while traveling. It is a great way to do a forced reset, since you must apply this on bare nails. Day zero before applying I soaked my nails in warm water + olive oil, and I did this again on day 6 before my last dose. I did a full manicure on day 6, cleaning my cuticles with a glass cuticle stick, shaping nails (filing only in one direction!) and gently buffing. My nails looked so much better. My photo is the "before" from the manicure and it is hard to describe what an improvement this is from day 0 (even if it doesn't look like it). I didn't experience any of the nail lifing some people online describe with this product, and overall my nails seemed much more firm with less peeling. I do still have two nails which seem a bit soft in localized spots, so I'm going to get an ISDIN product with silica in it to see if I can correct that while they continue to grow out. I've applied Nail Envy in my "after," and although I don't like the nude color very much I do feel that overall the combo is helping my nails! I'm nervous not having the strength of a gel manicure, but will have to use gloves during dishes and stop using my nails as tools to try and keep them from breaking while they grow out. I'm going to try to go 6 months without gel using Repair Mode weekly with clear Nail Envy polish to recover from all of this damage. I blame myself because I'm not very patient with removing gels and press ones, so most of my damage is from pulling-trauma and acetone. I'm just so glad there is something out there to help my nails recover quickly!

TLDR- GET THIS!!! It worked for me w/consistency and patience. Product is a watery consistency and dries fast! My nails had become thin and brittle, so my solution to keep them from bending and breaking below the free edge constantly, was to start keeping them coated in builder gel and UV gel polish. That worked great for a few years, but my nails were in desperate need of a break from having them constantly polished. Once all of the gel polish was off I knew I was in trouble. My nails were now beyond thin, they were paper thin and peeling. The slightest touch would bend them. It was painful. I couldn’t even scratch myself. And of course, when you know you can’t scratch, is when you become the itchiest human ever. It was torture. All of my nails actively hurt. So I went on the hunt for something that could help. I eventually settled on this OPI Repair Mode. It arrived and I started using it immediately and religiously. Twice a day, every day. Without fail. I had reminders set on my phone to be sure I didn’t forget (thanks, ADHD!). The product itself is thin and watery. Not at all like nail polish. And you don’t have to have a steady hand to apply it. Just slop it on, wait a minute or so and go. Super fast and easy! The first month of use I would go back and forth with myself trying to figure out if it was working or not. It was definitely working some and my nails had become less painful, but I still couldn’t scratch any itches I had. My nails were still thin and breaking, even though I kept them as short as possible. Toward the end of the second month is when I finally knew progress was being made. My nails weren’t peeling or painful anymore. And I was able to lightly scratch my itches again. Finally!! After a solid 2 months of use, I decided to cut down to using the product once a day and start incorporating revitalizing cuticle oil (I used Cuccio that I found here on Amazon) into my nail rehab routine. I would use the cuticle oil on my nails and the surrounding skin (rubbing it in as much as possible) in the morning and usually at least once during the day, then at night I’d put on the Repair Mode. I did that for a couple of weeks, then stopped using the Repair Mode altogether. Now I just use the oil a few times a day without a schedule or reminders. Just whenever I remember or feel like my nails are feeling extra dry. It’s been about 3 months now and my nails are almost back to what I’d call normal. I really hope this review helps anyone who was in my shoes. It’s not fun to have painful, bendy, peeling, breaking, nails, but there is hope! I hope this works for you like it did for me!!

I've tried various products to strengthen my nails, particularly my left middle finger due to nail splitting all the way down to the matrix from over washing my hands due to my occupation. When i say I've tried a plethora of products, i am not exaggerating! Various nail hardeners, oils, biotin supplements, zinc, collagen peptides, gel powders, and even nail avulsion (total nail removal) 😖. I began using this product about six months ago, and noticed a wonderful difference in my nails! They are much stronger, healthier and I do not have to use any nail hardener. I apply in the morning and before bed. I do admit that although it has bot completely repair my split nail (you can see in the picture and video) it does make it much more manageable and I keep it filed very short. You can see how my nail was before I began using this serum in the last photo and how split it was. My nails look clean and I also apply either Dadi's Oil afterwards or Healthy Hoofs nail balm, also available on Amazon. I still take vitamin supplements along with collagen peptides, but I do believe this serum helps significantly. One bottle 🫙 lasts me about 6 to 7 weeks, and that is with application on all of my nails. I am amazed by how quickly my nails dry - in mere seconds-💅🏿 and how I could apply my nail balms and cuticle oils immediately afterwards. It took about 2 weeks for me to see some improvement and about one to two months to see a sustained response. Some folks complain about the price 💰, but honestly, I believe you get what you pay for and you can't place a value on your health! I still feel it is very economically priced given all of its benefits and duration of use. I have recommended OPI Repair Mode to others, including my hand surgeon and I believe she has recommended to her patients as well (after she saw my before and after picture 📸 😆 😃). I say give it a try and if it works for you, then great, and if not, at least you tried it for yourself, but I honestly believe most folks will be pleased with the results! So... this is an amazing product. It binds the pealing layers of damaged nails together, smoothes, strengthens, and lengthens your nails. However, be aware of the frequency with which you use it. I used it for one week every month for four months when I began to notice my pinky nail lifting, from the front, away from the skin below. The gap had nearly reached the rear cuticle in a day. I was almost positive it was this product, so I went on to use it a second week on my other nails and within two days, two more nails began lifting away as well. It really is a great product, just be aware of how often you're using it.

My nails were so incredibly brittle and started to peel in layers mostly due to a few a round of gel manicures. Even when I stopped, for months I never seemed to be able to get them to grow back, they broke and peeled so easily. I bought this treatment and have been applying it consistently for a few weeks combined with a cuticle oil and my super brittle nails are now stronger and longer and have stopped peeling! I did have to keep them very short at first while they started strengthening, but be patient! The results do come, I started seeing improvement after the second week. I almost can’t believe it, it 100%worked for me.

I suspect the effect is so minimal that I won't repurchase.

Edit: At first I was very disappointed with this product. I used it two a day, my nails kept breaking, even though they seemed to be getting stronger. Finally one day I clicked. I actually had to trim my nails because they were foo long. I couldn’t believe it. The 1st time ever, and I’m 60+. Even well into post menopause my nails are finally fabulous. Strong, hard and even a crack that had run through on nails forever is gone. Still working on another, but it’s healing up nocely. With the cost. Try it. You’ll like it. Just remember to wait a few weeks before you you give feedback. I’m on my 3rd bottle.

I am 59 years old. I have always had nice, thick nails that grew with no problem. I do not wear nail polish. Anyway, last year I started noticing my nails were breaking very easily. They were becoming brittle, peeling, splitting and chipping very easily. Apparently ridges in the nails is common as we age. Because these ridges split as they grow out, my nails were constantly snagging on fabric which often caused tears. I was putting a drop of superglue on small tears and to try to keep splitting ends together almost daily. Even cutting them very short was not really helping. I tried soaks, nail strengthening polishes, supplements - you name it - I tried it. And then I discovered OPI Repair Mode Bonding Nail Serum. GAME CHANGER! The bottle looks like polish, so that is what I expected. Not the case. This is a liquid that absorbs into the nail bed, bonding the layers of the dry nail back together. It does take commitment and patience. BUT, if you apply this serum twice a day to clean, dry nails and avoid water for an hour afterward, you will start to see your nails look and feel much healthier. Another extremely important tool to add to the mix it DISH WASHING GLOVES. Seriously. If you have aging nails that are splitting or peeling, soapy water just makes it worse. Now I never wash dishes without gloves. I faithfully coat my nails in this OPI serum at least twice a day, and I have not had to file any ragged edges or ridges for months. Haven't touched my superglue bottle in months. And I still prefer bare nails, so that is a testament to how well this serum improves the HEALTH of your nail beds. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Compré este producto la semana pasada porque después de la última retirada de semipermanente que me hice noté que mis uñas naturales estaban súper frágiles y dañadas, hasta el punto de que me dolía horriblemente a la hora de hacer cualquier cosa con ellas. Cuando pensé que me habían crecido lo retiré completamente y seguían mis pobres uñas naturales fatal. Con la primera capa que me puse pude notar la diferencia... mis uñas pasaron de estar súper débiles y que dolían solo con verlas a poder tocarlas y sentirlas más fuertes. I have tried so many nail repair serums. This one is great it absorbs into the nail quickly. It does take a couple of weeks to notice the difference but with consistent use it really works.

This product works but takes time to work. Painting nails in between application did not yield positive results, it dried my nails, mostly just peeled off and some nails separated from the bed - not the fault of the product just to be clear. I expected to get strong and hard nails which didn't happen. I have long very bendy and flexible nails. It does stop my nails from the layers splitting and peeling - yay! The corners, especially prone to peeling, no longer split, peel or separate so don't get caught on things causing them to rip. Given nails grow 3 mm per month and the nail being 10 mm it takes about 3 months to cover new growth. I'm guessing I'll have to buy this for the rest of my life to keep the nails from peeling. Worth it IMO.
