Very rugged material, smooth on one side with a slight texture on the other.
This is a very strong and sturdy heavy material.

Extremely durable
Do you have a dog that shreds beds like they're made of tissue paper? Are you on the quest for indestructible dog bed material? If so, look no further. This is not completely indestructible, but it holds up way longer than anything else I've tried. I have a 9 month old Pyr that has made it his life's mission to annihilate any and all fabric he can find. "Heavy-duty" beds last less than 30 minutes (although their destruction brings him great joy). This stuff took him months to make a hole, and even longer to expand the hole to the point is was a problem. I screwed this to a PVC frame, so I can't say how well it holds stuffing, but it's tough stuff.

Very sturdy
This material is sturdy and usable. It cuts easily, but will last due to the built in fabric dynamics.

Putting this fabric to the test!
I had previously purchased the K9 ballistics chew proof dog bed for my Great Danes crate and it lasted about 7 months. Nothing else lasted even 24 hours! However, I’m not too keen on spending $200 on a dog bed every 7 months. This ballistic fabric seems to be comparable to the fabric that was on the previous dog bed. Even better it was the perfect size to fit the frame I built out of 2x4s for my dog’s XXL crate (roughly 55x34” I think) but I literally didn’t have to make any cuts which is awesome! At $20 a pop I would be happy if this last even 3 months. We shall see! I will definitely follow up.

Extremely durable.
Bought this for a school project and it is very high quality. The pvc backing is nice to prevent fraying. I will recommend using a Jean needle if you’re sewing this with a sewing machine. 2-3 layers works fine for a standard needle, but if you’re using more layers, you with start to break needles.

Unfortunately will not stop .30 cal pellet @500fps
I wanted to use this fabric as a secondary backstop to AR500 steel targets for ancillary poor shots. Well tried single at 500fps. No go. Tried double. No go. Tried tripple. That’s a maybe with a soft backstop. Needless to say it’s to expensive to be using layers for a 5’x5’ backstop. It seems great for lower calibers with airguns ONLY! Otherwise great fabric for other uses. Next since I have bought a large roll I’ll try using either liquid acrylic to build up a thicker surface with 2 layers and see how it goes or use fiberglass to build the same backstop. This would still be lighter than using heavier more costly steel.

Works
Seems like a great product for the price. Haven't used it on the course yet.
