First, please be sure this is the size you need. It's narrow, not standard. In my case, it's the size I was replacing, so it was appropriate for me. It's a very sturdy product that has to be forced into the grooves to hold the screen fabric securely. It has held my pet screening in place, and my 16 pound cat hangs from the screen without dislodging it, but that's because it's the correct size. You get a lot of spline, 100 feet, for a very reasonable cost. It was easily cut with scissors or a utility knife. But you will still need the tools to install it, and I followed by forcing it in further with a screwdriver. It's holding up well and I'm pleased with it.

Worked like it was supposed to, they way it was wound up was crappy and it ended up in a not! Time will tell on the quality.

Works, but before you undo the twist tie, makes sure to place a thick piece of card board or even 2x4 (wood) to prevent it from tangling! It is a tangling mess.

Easy to install to the groove with no pressure soft enough

I no longer needed this item but gave it to a friend who found much use out of it.

Worked perfectly to hold the mesh in our screen door. No signs of wear after a summer of usage.
