For someone like myself who likes to drink coffee while catching up with your emails and reading the news on your laptop, this keyboard protector is a must have. After shorting out my second laptop when I knocked over my coffee, I decided to buy a keyboard protector. Although I bought this keyboard protector for a new laptop that I just bought. I still have the first keyboard protector that I bought 6 or 7 years ago, which I am still using on my older laptop, which is also 6 or 7 years old. Even though I bought the keyboard protector and started putting a lid on my coffee I did at one time manage to spill half of a 12oz cup of coffee when the lid wasn't on right. Of course the coffee landed right in the middle of the keyboard. Fortunately, the keyboard protector formed a seal and none of the liquids managed to get inbetween the keys. Without the keyboard protector, I am sure that I would have had to replace my older laptop siiner. My older laptop still works fine and I am still using it. I only bought the other laptop so that I would have a new laptop and besides Samsung was offering a good deal.

This item is great!!! Fits perfectly over my keyboard.sizing is perfect....I hate seeing the keys getting dusty and they won't now.....no difficulty using it just laid it down and it stayed put. It really seems like a good piece of vinyl

The idea for a universal keyboard protector is a good one, but it is totally impractical to try and make this work. This product is simply a sheet of silicon that sits on top of your keyboard. It is not fastened in any way. It will slip off if you tilt your laptop; it will move if your arm brushes it; it will not stay in place. It proved to be much more annoying than effective.

Was not as big as I had anticipated. I hoped to cover my keyboard and mousepad, but I already had a keyboard cover, so I just used this to cover my mouse tracker thing, and it works great!

Arrived brand new as described, but I would not recommend and would not buy the second time as the product itself is not really protective and easy to install

Ufff lo mejor para tener mi laptop como nueva. Evita derrames entrada del polvo y las teclas no se desgastan ni se ensucian. Es lo mejor. Le quedó genial a mi laptop.

It fit good to.protect my laptop

This item works great. It covers the keyboard, with a protective film that is transparent, lays in place flat, and easy to type on. Perfect for my daughter who sometimes snack while on her lap top, keeps out crumbs.

Good very thin . But fits

The sheet works well to prevent dust and accidental lquids from spilling into the keys. But it stuck to the keyboard only for the first two days, after that whatever sticky film that was there had evaporated and it does not stay on my inclined laptop keyboard (just falls off). If the keyboard is flat or nearly flat then no issues. Secondly, the sheet attracts dust and it cannot be wiped away unless washed in water. So, not a enjoyable thing typing on a dusty sheet. I use it only to cover my laptop keyboard while working on an external keyboard , the sheet simply sits on the idle built-in keyboard. When the laptop is shut, I take out the sheet and put it over the external keyboard. So as a best practice, need to wash it every 2 days. Thirdly, the product writeup on Amazon says no crease, but out of the package the sheet as a crease where it was folded and shipped. Even after several days, the creases is very much there and prominent, but does not prevent typing.
