I’ve been searching for a cross that can withstand my active lifestyle, and not be too big to constantly be getting caught or being in the way. After a couple of failed attempts, this cross is what I have landed on, it’s not very heavy, it’s robust, and most importantly, there’s very few intricate or moving parts to it that can break. The same can’t be said about the connector as it seemed a little flimsy and I was able to even pry off the cross accidentally while I was taking the chain off over my head. Ergo I upgraded the connector and the chain to a heavier gauge and now it feels like it’s gonna last.

Colour Name: B-Cross-Silver I got this modern looking cross for my brother, more as a piece of jewellery. It came is a nice gift box, so easy enough to wrap up come Christmas. Inside the cross is in a small plastic bag, with the chain on the outside. This is to protect it. As this is going to be a gift, I took the cross out and there is a removable velvet pad in the bottom of the gift box, and I put it on that. This is a simple modern design, with the addition of a small stone in the centre. The chain is quite long and a little chunky but not overly so. It has a traditional jewellery clip and there is a small extension chain. So, you can adjust the length. Overall, I really like this piece of jewellery. So much so that I did consider keeping it for myself, but I already have something similar. It does look as impressive in real life, as it does in the photos on the amazon website – my photos do not really do it justice. Der Anhänger dieser Kette stellt eine kleine Windrose dar. Die Details sind dabei wirklich schön und filigran herausgearbeitet. Der Anhänger ist etwa 1,5cm groß und hat so einen angenehmen Durchmesser, ohne zu protzig oder billig zu wirken. Ich habe mich für die Variante in silber entschieden, der für den Alltag sehr schön ist. Die goldfarbene Kette wirkt etwas edler für festlichere Anlässe. Es handelt sich hier um Modeschmuck, die Kette ist nicht aus echtem Silber, dafür sieht sie aber durchaus hübsch aus und der Preis von aktuell rund 10 €ist auch sehr gut. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes kleines Geschenk für Abenteurer und Weltenbummler.
