It looks sturdy, and we haven't had any issues so far—though we've only used it a few times. It is easy to use and does the job it's supposed to do. I'll see how it holds up with long-term use.

I've only used it on two occasions now, the first was to feed all the seniors of our local High School on there first day back from the summer. I used a name brand batter that you just add water to and it worked very well. the second time I used it, did not start out so great. Batter was not comming out when pressing on the plunger, and it leaked. I ended up dumping the batter into a container and then took it apart and reassembled it. It worked the rest of the morning just as it had that first day. So I probably had something on it a little out of place someplace and reassembling it again corrected that. I don't use it all the time, but it's a great tool to have when you need it. i would certainly buy it again. Its all metal, and not rubber seals to wear out over time. Seems to be a quality unit.

The plastic is a little bit flimsy

The instructions (what few there were) could be a LOT better, especially when describing how to clean the unit. Play around a bit, taking it apart and reassembling, BEFORE you start using it, otherwise you'll be looking at a frustrating (and batter covered) experience. Once you know all about it, however, the dispenser works wonderfully!

Hubs bought it for the monthly men’s breakfast. He said it worked like a charm. When you are feeding 40-60 men, it’s fast, and makes consistent pancakes.

Wow! This thing was huge and heavy duty. Way too much for a household kitchen. I bought it thinking an industrial one would last and be overall nicer. Not the case, this was way too much dispenser, even for a small restaurant. Now if only a household one could be developed that didn't feel cheep...
