A surprisingly effective headlamp and a good buy!
This headlamp, while a bit large in its physical dimensions, is a very effective tool. Given its array of lighting modes, It's highly versatile. What I like about it I like a whole lot. What I like less about it doesn't really matter all that much. Here are my thoughts: 1. It has lots of different output emitters (just look at them all!). Lighting doesn't come from just one source that's easily blocked by something. It comes from multiple sources so that if something is in the way of one (like a car hood strut), you don't get a shadow in the middle of your view. 2. You can enable each group of light sources individually by cycling through the lighting modes. Thus, you can choose the overall output level and dispersion pattern that suits your needs. 3. It is driven by TWO (2!) 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries. With a power supply like that, it tells you something about how bright this thing can get! 4. The 18650 batteries are INCLUDED! Those things have gotten more expensive in recent times. Just buying two of those can cost you more than this whole headlight costs. They're not likely the BEST 18650's out there, but they're perfectly effective. 5. The 18650 batteries are replaceable. They're not sealed inside where you can't get to them. 6. The battery case, located at the back of the head when you're wearing the headlamp, has a red bar light you can turn on either solid or flashing. This is an excellent safety feature, especially for use when bike riding in dark conditions. 7. The main lamps (large, vertically arranged, central emitters) produce a very bright spotlight and adequate spill for excellent general use. 8. The secondary lamps (four large, lateral emitters on either side of the main lamps) add directly to the main lamps' spotlight and spill, further brightening the throw pattern. 9. Tucked under the secondary lamps are two flat-pattern emitters. These are pure flood lamps and produce an perfectly even dispersion with no spotlighting. This is very good for close-quarters work where a spotlight is too bright and focused for a comfortable view. These lamps also have red-colored emitters so they can be used as safety lights. 10. The thick, sturdy, adjustable elastic headband seems like it's going to last at least as long as the electronics do. There's just one thing I'd prefer were different. While the secondary emitters are aimed to reinforce the primary lights, reinforcing the spotlight, I'd rather that they extended the periphery of the beam for a wider view. The primary spotlight is quite bright in itself. I think there'd be more value in brightening the periphery. But, overall, an excellent value and a great product!

Nice Headlamp, Bright, Durable, and Lightweight
This is a fantastic headlamp. It is bright with 8 different modes for different situations. A big plus is the fact that it also came with extra clips to adjust the head band in just the right way. The 2500 mAh rechargeable batteries gives an ok amount of life if you are not running it on it brightest setting all the time, they definitely could have included higher mAH batteries for longer life, but this is not a deal breaker as these can be replaced with better ones if you choose. The lightweight ABS housing is seems durable and the adjustable elastic strap will definitely help making it fit just right, it can seem heavy on the front, but the battery pack actually balances it well. So far I have used it for running and have yet to have this become a issue. Came with a standard USB charging cable, but no base for the wall, but that seems to be the normal these days for all types of electronics. Overall this was a good buy at its price point and I don't think it will disappoint for basic needs.

Great Headlamp For the Money, hands down
This is a great headlamp for the money, brighter, better fitting, more comfortable then many more expensive models. It has an unconventional battery that does not look like it can be replaced, but you can buy a whole new headset for much less money then buying replacement batteries for another headset. I just bought two more as backups, very useful. mjac

Good and bright for most household and other tasks and some outdooring but not for everything
I work as an Amazon driver who does super early morning routes starting at 4AM, so I need a bright headlamp especially for rural areas and unlit houses. One button will light up pretty much right in front of you, good for when I get to a stop and need to find and scan the right package, and the other button is for the bright spotlight which is good in very dark areas and to find hard to see addresses. In that regard its worked great in the 9 months I've had it so far. However, since I am constantly turning on and off the light every few minutes, the straps just will not stay in place and need to be constantly re tightened. Also, it doesn't last very long. It MIGHT get me through two routes on a full charge, but don't count on it. Also the USB port is flimsy and the cable has to be plugged in just right to get it to charge. Overall I would say if you are looking to use this light for work and will be wearing it for hours and constantly turning it on and off, I would look elsewhere and get something with a longer lasting battery and solid straps that don't require constant readjustment. But for casual household tasks and walks and such, this light is just fine if not a tad bulky. Also other reviewers were spot on in that it's too easy to accidentally turn on, so you have to be careful when storing it in a bag or something. Even though it's not perfect for me, I'll still likely use it until it no longer holds a good enough charge or the lights stop working. Edit - The batteries that came with the unit no longer held a charge by Jan 2026 after 17 months of use.

Great company to deal with
I had an issue with my headlamp, and when I reached out, the company quickly responded and resolved it. Excellent customer service. The headlamp is, as expected, very powerful, and the battery life lasts long between charges. It is a little heavy and bulky to wear, but that is the necessary trade off for a powerful beam and long battery life. It takes special rechargeable batteries - readily available on amazon (other reviewers have stated the size), but they are not the standard AA size, and I wish they were, so that you could interchange them with rechargeable batteries that many of us already have. But maybe these hold more of a charge and that is why they chose them; I do not know, but I will be ordering a pair of those batteries and a charger just so I can switch them out if I am in the middle of a project and they go out. There is no battery meter, but the light gets dim as it loses power so at least it does not immediately shut down without warning as some lights do. Also, when you charge it, there will be a red light to show it is charging, and it does switch to green when it is charged.

Great for nightly adventures
I've been using a flashlight for many years while geocaching in the dark. I hate having to write my name on the piece of paper while also holding the flashlight in a way that I can see what I'm writing (usually inbetween my arm and side). This head lamp is perfect. I can use a different brightness depending where I am. I used the brightest in my video but it totally wasn't necessary. I have a small head so I was glad to see it fits my head. It's comfortable and doesn't fall off my head when I look down or go upside down. One thing I do wish is that it was adjustable on both sides of my head in stead of just one side. But either way, this will stay in my car for my next geocache in the dark. Or if i need it for something else i know where to look. And yes, i just had to add a silly face photo of myself

A seriously strong headlamp!
I already own two rechargeable headlamps that I use for hands-free house projects, but they die quickly. I bought this headlamp in hopes of having a stronger light beam and longer battery life. I am impressed with how many light options there are! You get 8 light levels because each button has 4 settings and you don’t need to have them both on at all times. The levels are intense, so having one light on will probably be enough for most of what I’ll use this for. Also, the red light on the back of your head strap is a separate button, so you don’t have to waste energy on that if you don’t need it. Hopefully you can see this in my video. I didn’t buy it for this purpose, but I like having the red light as an option if I need the headlamp to walk my dog in low light or if I get stuck cycling at dusk. I also like the three head straps because sometimes the lamp slips down my head even when I tighten it.

Do not buy
Purchased in MAR 2025, stopped working DEC 2025. Just all of a sudden died. Tried changing batteries, different chargers &c. Nothing worked.
