Good motherboard but…
Good mother board but some labels are not good enough also bios is like old style bios, spend couple of hours to find how to switch xmp profile or boot windows but overall it’s good cuz is Asrock all of them are like that, I have r5 7600x KingBank 6800 works perfectly (never seen that any one have use 6800hz ram ) mb helpful for some one

The best budget AM5 board? Probably.
Bought this as a recommendation from Hardware Unboxed. Can't complain, it's a solid AM5 board for the price. I'd recommend their review for a comprehensive breakdown.

This motherboard fried my CPU
STAY AWAY!!! This motherboard fried itself and took my 9800X3D with it. One of the absolute worst motherboards I have ever owned I know it's tempting to get a cheaper mobo but it's gonna cost you so much more replacing them constantly. I'm absolutely fuming and this is my 2nd motherboard by Asrock. I should be spending my weekend gaming and now I'm spending it trying to get ahold of AMD. Not to mention it's flimsy, you can't use ram at full speeds or it'll freeze your system and my previous mobo from this company straight up broke a ram slot refusing to register my 2 16GB ram sticks. I'm just so lucky it didn't fry anything else in the process. Especially since my 9070XT was brought at a ridiculously low sale price

Just perfect for my needs!
For a custom build for the average person, you don't need many slots, ports or connectivities. This is perfect for round £100

The Best Budget AM5 Motherboard?
Strengths: 💪 Value for money 💵-One of the biggest strengths of this board is the cost-to-feature ratio. As it brings AM5 support and B650 features into a much lower price bracket than many competitor boards. Strong core specs-It supports the AM5 socket (so future proof to some degree), dual-slot DDR5 memory (and high speeds via OC), two M.2 slots (one PCIe Gen5 x4 “Blazing”, one Gen4 x4 “Hyper”) and a 2.5 GbE LAN port. Good VRM & build for the price – The board uses an 8+2+1 Dr.MOS power phase design and 2oz-copper PCB layers (per ASRock specs) to support even high-end CPUs. Micro-ATX form factor – For smaller builds or mATX cases, this is a strong option rather than having to go ATX. Future‐proof features – The presence of a PCIe Gen5 M.2 slot (even if the main PCIe slot is Gen4) gives SSD upgrade potential. ⚠️ What you give up / trade-offs Only 2 DIMM slots – The board has only two DDR5 memory slots. For many normal usage scenarios (e.g., gaming, everyday desktop) that’s fine, but if you want to expand to 64 GB+ via 4-slot kits, or do extreme memory overclocking, this is a limitation. Limited I/O / features compared to premium boards – For example: no built-in WiFi (only optional via M.2 Key E slot). Also fewer USB ports in some cases, no RGB lighting or headers (so if you like flashy RGB builds you’ll need add-ons). PCIe limitations – While it supports a Gen5 M.2 slot, the main PCIe x16 slot is only PCIe Gen4 (not Gen5) because of chipset constraints. Some users may prefer full Gen5 x16 for next-gen GPU bandwidth (though in practice many GPUs don’t yet need full Gen5 bandwidth). Memory tuning/compatibility complexity – enabling very high DDR5 OC speeds may require manual tuning of memory timings/termination/resistor settings. In other words: out-of-the-box you’ll do great, but pushing the limits may require more work. 🎯 My verdict If I were to summarise: For anyone building an AM5 system on a budget (especially gaming or general-purpose use) this motherboard hits a sweet spot. You get the core essentials: support for modern Ryzen CPUs, DDR5, M.2 SSDs (including future PCIe Gen5), 2.5 GbE, good VRM for the price. If you don’t need extensive future memory expansion, RGB flair, built-in WiFi, or want the absolute highest premium features, this board is hard to beat. However, if you are a power user doing workstation tasks, heavy memory expansion, or want full luxury features (WiFi, tons of USB, multiple M.2 with heatsinks, Gen5 GPU lanes, fancy lighting) then you might prefer to spend more. Good pick if: you want solid AM5 platform, microATX size, good value. Consider alternatives if: you need advanced features, lots of memory expansion, WiFi built‐in, or want Gen5 GPU slot.

Rock solid stability with a 7600 X
Great performance and value. It worked out of the box with my 7600 X but I did a BIOS update just in case. Rock solid stable with 32Gb DDR5 and an RX 6700.

Recomend
Im very recommend this item, but i had some problems during process, my motherboard coming with litter capacitor desconected (loose insead bag) but i only saw this after installed the processor and cooler, I dismantled everything, took photos and asked for the part to be returned. Amazon authorized the return but did not pay for shipping. After analyzing the supplier, he did not mention the capacitor and only said that the seal was broken and that there was no warranty. After a few emails, Amazon issued the refund. I went to a store and bought the same motherboard. I recommend the motherboard, Amazon, but pay attention to whoever supplies it!

Best bang for buck board IMO
It's a decent little motherboard, zero issues out of the box. So far I have ran this for 5 days straight with no crashing and very consistent performance. I do wish this had some RGB/ARGB headers, but this is a "budget" board. Oh how I remember when mid-range and premium boards didn't cost much more than this. Wouldn't have costed them but a few cents to add a chip for ARGB, but I guess keeping your market segments as segregated as possible is a little more important these days. Who ever really heard of a budget board that has a dedicated wifi card slot and built in IO shield, but no RGB headers. Overall, for $100, this is one of the best boards you can get to have Ryzen 7000/8000/9000 support. BIOS was somewhat simple to navigate with the help of some googling to find where the iGPU settings are so I could disable that. Boot times are great, at around 4-6 seconds after it has done its first POST. Ryzen 5 7600x Gigabyte 1060 2x8GB Corsair DDR5-6000 Some random OEM WD NVME drive
