So yummy
I really enjoy the crunch taste and aftertaste of this chalk. The first batch was the best but the second and third were okay too. I think I will buy a larger bag next time

terrible
I ordered the chalk pencils for my slate for like a 1870s themed thing but when they arrived, half of them arrived broken and have rust (maybe). They taste awful. ate one and my stomach hurts. they smell like one on those old operation board games. they barely even work most of the time. they are also very messy.

It’s weird
My kid likes to chew on it I guess but as for my pregnant self it’s a hard pass

it satisfied the craving.
this chalk is good. My normal supplier of pica dirt had difficulty with slow shipping. I was needing something to hold me over. Ordered this , decided to try. I put several sticks, like 20 in a magic bullet. grinded it down fine.

A good choice
3.5 ⭐️ (my official rating) NOTE - I’m rating as someone who eats the product. Reviews and ratings on slate / Indian slate pencils are based on personal preference. So people should take it all with a grain of salt and remember that it depends on what you like personally. That being said: - I love crunchiness, I need good crunch. Nothing too soft, too easy of a bite and too clay-like with initial bite. This slate had a really good crunch too it. A little softer than I would like but time and airing out fixes that. - this had almost like a zest or a true “lime” or tang to it, that’s how it seemed to me. Really subtle but there was almost a “zing.” I didn’t dislike it but I prefer earthy natural taste. - product was clean and non soapy. - product had more thin and easy to break pieces that think and sturdy. - not my favorite but a great choice for many. I’m more partial to red slate.

AIR IT OUT first guys
Ok I found the real thing, this is the best I usually air it out a few days but this one you don't have to air out, the other kind I would get was ok but this is the best I can eat it without letting it sit out a few days and I've never had a batch where the second order was the same as the first order and if you are looking for the taste you want AIR IT OUT DON'T JUST GO RIGHT TO EATING IT but as I said you don't have to do that but if you do get a bad batch (because nothing is perfect) just air it out before you leave a bad review because that usually fixes the taste problem. So far this is my second order and both were on point without airing it out.

Pica
Nice size for eating, tastes good. Will buy again. About half of the pieces are kinda soft but most have a good crunch that won’t bother your teeth.
