You will have to paint the wall behind your mirror white or cut some sort of white material to fit the back of the mirror to reflect the light through the front.Because of this, the front-facing lighting will never be as bright as the edge lighting without some sort of reflector, diffuser, or shiny white wall.I installed a recessed outlet for the mirror instead of hard wiring it.
