Good Monitor at a Not-Crazy Price
I needed a good monitor to replace an older one that was starting to flake out. Being a Mac guy, I looked at their monitors and quickly realized their prices put them far out of the range of my budget. My Mac expert friend recommended this ViewSonic and it's perfect for my needs...great picture quality and it has a tiltable screen feature, which my previous ViewSonic didn't have and which I consider a necessity. I haven't calibrated it but the "Standard" setting seems fine. A couple of quibbles...the unit does not come with a remote, which is fine, but the row of adjustment buttons along the lower right of the screen are a little counter-intuitive to use until you get used to them. There was no manual, only a quick-start guide, but the manual is available online (and I'm finding that to be the case with more and more consumer electronics products). The sound quality of the speakers is pretty mediocre; if you want high-quality audio, use external speakers, but the built-in audio is serviceable for things like Zoom calls. It was easy to set up. I'm happy with it.

Nice monitor- useful
I needed a bigger monitor for use with my laptop. The size is nice. The clarity is very good. It has a nice matte surface and keeps glare down low. I've seen better monitors (that have a brighter sharper picture) that cost 2-4x more-. However, this is a very good monitor for the price and good for 'office' work (as opposed to gaming). I am happy with purchase. I use it along with a big monitor stand so I am use my laptop underneath it.

Good video quality but terrible audio and design.
I ordered a pair of these monitors in an attempt to upgrade my dual-screen KVM system to higher 2560x1440 resolution. My old system used DVI and this uses DisplayPort + 2 HDMI, and I tried two different KVM switches and neither of them worked properly with DisplayPort connections, so I had to end up plugging one system into the monitors DisplayPort and the other into HDMI and manually switch the inputs. This is why my biggest complaint is about the design: Who thought it would be a good idea to not just make the manual input-switching feature something at least a 4-button process in an on-screen menu - which you can't bring up if there isn't at least one working input? (I only had to press one button on my old monitor to switch inputs) And then thought it would be a better idea to put the FIVE buttons that are used to turn on power and set options on the BACK of the monitor instead of the front or bottom? I seriously have to reach under and press three different buttons on the back of the monitor a minimum of four times to switch inputs or turn it on or off. Extremely annoying, especially when it cycles through every input for several seconds whenever you turn it on. The video quality in this monitor is excellent though, but it doesn't look so great when viewed from an angle. The speakers on this monitor are terrible, and I also use a Roku stick in my setup that I plug into HDMI and run the audio out to a speaker. The audio out on this monitor doesn't work properly. I got two different monitors from two different batches and both have the same problem: I can get the audio out to work with an external speaker, but if I unplug that audio cable or try running it through a KVM switch, the monitor stops sending audio through the audio out jack. The internal speakers are still off, and even if you unplug and replug the speaker, I cannot get audio out to work again unless I unplug my audio, the monitor's power supply, the Roku stick, and its power supply. Seriously. Just restarting the Roku doesn't even fix it, it's a problem with the monitor. On two separate monitors. How hard is it to design an analog audio output jack that works without needing to unplug the monitor? I've owned ViewSonics in the past, so I assumed this would be another great one, but alas it is not. I'm giving it 4 stars for the decent video quality (if you look straight at it and not at an angle) and terrible feature controls and audio, but even that's being generous. If you're only going to use it for video on a single computer and don't care about audio or multiple inputs, you'll be fine.

Very good monitor for the price. Good brightness. Thin bezel and lightweight. Great for portrait mode.
Great value for a 27 inch with 1440p resolution. The bezel is fairly thin and looks nice when used in multi display. I am using two of these in portrait mode and the 1440 resolution is plenty large enough for the standard web page at full desktop resolution (which is typically anywhere from 1000-1600px, with most being at ~1400px range). The 1440p resolution is much better than 1080p monitors which will be restrictive in their horizontal capacity when placed into portrait mode. The brightness is good and color quality seems fine to me. I am not extremely particular on this as it doesn't effect my productivity and at this value you can't complain too much anyway. I ordered the first monitor to make sure it would fit in my pre-existing monitor mount as well as see if it looked good, of course, at least compared to my other monitors. Compared to the ASUS VG248's that these replaced: these were much brighter and showed better color. Deeper looking blacks. Better viewing angle. Compared to my fairly new Dell monitors these are on par, possibly slightly lesser in, quality and "vibrance" I would call (as a non videophile). However the Dell monitors were 50%+ more expensive. And being that I am continually upgrading my workstation I tend to always go with the lower-end models. ViewSonic is a great monitor brand and I still have a 19' ViewSonic from the early 2000's maybe older I forget, which still works flawlessly to this day - while I've had many others over the years give out, even with much less usage than the ViewSonic. Their newer craftsmanship and products seem to be made with the same care. Which I've learned comes from companies that care about their products not just profits, which is what we need more of.

Great Buy, but BEWARE
Its a great monitor, and great for the price. But beware, I bought mine and within a day got weird pixel issues on screen. No worries, I just restarted and it was all good. A few hours later, the screen goes red on me, red tint, and does not get better. Go through full troubleshooting, cable, power, hue, etc. Even get on with amazon support. Screen is busted. Luckily I have prime and another one was sent, but still MAJOR HASSLE

Keeps waking up every few minutes even when computer (Macbook) is on sleep
I have this connected to a Macbook Pro 2015 which has been working well with an older LCD (1080p) monitor. This Viewsonic monitor is connected using DisplayPort. The audio output from monitor goes to my powered speakers. Monitors itself came with few dead pixels (I bought two and both have dead pixels at different places), which I have decided to accept. Real problem for me is monitor wakes up every few minutes (even when computer is asleep, with all wake functions disabled in Mac settings). Monitor goes in loop through all inputs (2 HDMI and 1DP). It shoes each input name in the corner and goes back to sleep in few seconds again. This is annoying for two reasons, 1. When monitor wakes up, it does something with audio out port. My speakers (which are always ON, but silent) make a thud kind of sound that scares my cat and anybody that are not used to it. 2. The light generated by the monitor waking up and running through each input is annoying when sleeping in a dark room. I wanted to return it, but I think Viewsonic has some 15% restocking fee etc., even within 30days. Also, when I wanted to return, they gave one shipping label for returning two monitor boxes. I have no idea how to find a box big enough to fit two of these.

Step it up from 1080p
I bought this monitor to pair with my newly acquired GFX10606gb. I play bf1 so was the and this monitor is a total pleasure. A month later and I still find myself admiring the graphics whilst playing. The image quality definitely punches way above its class. For this price a real bang for buck buy. The styling is slim with a glass base makes for an attractive monitor and couldn't be easier to set up.

Happy but no height adjustment
Good - Out of the box setup was easy - The display looks just as good as my main gaming 1440p monitor. - Great side monitor - Angle face up and down adjustment - Plugged and worked well - 1440p noticeable Bad - No height adjustment so I had to lower my main monitor - It is kind of low height - 60hz so only for side monitor if a gamer - Price felt a bit high 1440p has been out a long time (paid 200)

Great monitor for a great price.
Overall, I've been really impressed with the quality of this monitor. Main points: - The base is made of glass with a solid neck, the edges of the screen are discreet and have no light bleeding out the sides. - Great viewing from wider angles (good for multiplayer games) and good range of vertical tilt. - I've found the picture quality itself and the colour depth to be great - The screen will tell you what resolution to set if the full screen application is not at 2560x1440, which can be very handy. - Overall impressed by the build quality. - One minor gripe is the ports point directly down, which can make it hard to plug things in. However this does mean cables take up a lot less space at the back of the monitor, it looks tidier and you won't have any dust going in the ports so I wouldn't say this is a significant drawback.
