Will this work well with good water pressure?

Yes, I have a Worcester combi boiler and had a problem with plastic shower heads bursting open after a few months use due to the water pressure. I have had a Bristan Hand 100 since last June without any problems. The design looks pretty sturdy and I expect it to last for years!
