Works great!
Awesome DWR! Water beads right off clothes. No strong smells once dried

Waterproof the rain fly on a tent.
I have Colman 4 person tent that's about 10 years old now. Really love the tent because its roomy, easy to setup and sturdy. I only use it once or twice a year but on my most recent camping trip we unfortunately had a few episodes of heavy rain and I noticed the rainfly was no longer completely waterproof. Fortunately it wasn't too big a deal but I knew I wanted to address the problem before I risked using the tent again and this product did the trick perfectly. Easy to apply, dried relatively quickly and didn't discolor the fabric at all.

Good for adding water resistance to hats
Travel plans included a place with daily thunderstorms. Since it was a warmer place, I decided to not bring raincoats and chance bucket hats instead. I have a couple fabric floppy hats (slightly wider brim than bucket hats, but not as wide as a straw floppy hat). I spent a couple days spraying down the 2 bucket hats and a baseball cap. I dried them outside and then ran them through about 15 min in the dryer. Repeat 3 times. It seemed to help with adding water resistance to my hats. Water seems to bead and run off more than previously. The spraying of this DWR was a bit odd. I had to gently rub the liquid onto the hats and work it into the seams. Then suddenly, the hat material was dripping. Spraying and drying outside is a great idea. There's a slight smell, but not too bad. I would definitely try this again with future hats and maybe when my raincoats need a new coating. GEAR AID Revivex Durable Water Repellent (DWR) Spray for Restoring Waterproofing on Rainwear

A must treatment for aging rain gear
I have a set of Redhead (Bass Pro Shops) packable Gore-Tex rain gear that is at least 20 years old. After 20 years, they are patched up like a pair of 1970's blue jeans and retreated with Revivex DWR. I wore my Gore-Tex everyday in the rain and wind for a week in Canada moose hunting last October. I stayed nice and dry under my rain gear. I also wore them in torrential rain hunting in South Carolina, also staying dry under my rain gear. I absolutely recommend retreating Gore-Tex rain gear with Revivex DWR; as well as repairing tears and pin holes these GearAid Gore-Tex Fabric Patches.

DOES NOT WORK
This product simply does not work. I treated 2 rain coats three weeks ago and wore one of them this morning in the rain that we had. The rain went right through and soaked the outer layer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Worked for me.
I sprayed 3 or 4 coats of this stuff on one 20 year old jacket. It smelled kinda weird, but went away once it dried. The product works, but again, I used a lot of it on one jacket.

Fell short of expectations
Followed the instructions, disappointed in the results. Used to treat multiple rain coats, not a single one beaded up after to repel moisture/rain.

Great Product that Works Just as Advertised
Worked great and made my raincoat like new, repelling the water again. I followed all of the instructions and my husband took the coat outside to spray it since I have allergies to a lot of odors. I am very pleased with the product. I have only used my raincoat once since it was treated but the water beaded up perfectly, just as it should. It was easy to follow the directions and did not change the color of my red raincoat at all. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Great
Worked great on my ski gloves, Mountain Hardware jacket and trousers. Wasn't much left after that. Just bought another bottle for this year as it really did the job.

Lumpy crap
This crap was a waste of money as when it arrived it wouldn’t spray. The only reason I could figure is that it broke down and separated at some point before I got it. It was in white clumps in the bottle and no matter how much I shook it it wouldn’t mix to a usable consistency. Put it in a $10 spray bottle and still no joy. Not sure how or why it separated but if it doesn’t spray it’s garbage, literally. Thanks for the rip off.
