I recently purchased the Mini Camera, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! The camera itself is excellent - good quality for its superb small size and the fly lead for the camera make it really adaptable and having the small detachable battery and Micro USB port for being able to add additional power bank or USB plug power is ideal, but I am returning the 3 of these I bought due to the app ruining the entire purpose of the camera. Manual tells you to download HDlivecam from Appstore (Iphone) and this app 'looks good' for features etc but apart from the very unreliable pairing to wifi (1 camera took 2 mins, 1 took 30 mins with 20 attempts, 3rd camera refused my wifi altogether - claimed it was bound to another device but no way to reset, did I get another customer's return?) the cameras FORGET SETTINGS each time you unplug. Despite the 128Gb Micro SD card I had fitted, every time I disconnect either the original or secondary power source, the camera name, Motion settings, and time settings are all forgotten. Who cares you may say - but what use is a time reset to Beijing time default which immediately overwrites your footage from UK GMT time earlier that day, which you then change back to UK which confuses the camera so all saved data in between is inaccessible. You then find that it isn't recording motion - you change back to record and save. Later you find it was not saved, so no motion. Also the app shows multiple motion instances - you open and go to them and they are not there! Hugely frustrating waste of time and effort which could have been avoided so easily.

This is a really good mini camera. It may look strange in its component form but it does mean that you can easily set it up and position the camera/lens very easily (just make sure you get the image the right way up!). Acquired to cover a small area in a business that was a CCTV black spot, the camera can be connected to either a permanent USB-powered mains adaptor (not supplied but most phone chargers would work) giving continuous power without the need for the camera's own (3000 ma) battery - or it can run from a higher capacity USB battery pack for an extended period. There is a limitation on the capacity of video footage which seems to be 128Gb in the form of a MicroSD card (not supplied) which you can either have fill up and then stop, or you can have it continuously shoot footage while there is power supplied to it and then loop round and overwrite the oldest footage. The picture quality is surprisingly good in decent light but quality does drop off in less bright settings. There is also wifi functionality but I was not able to test it.It's well packaged and the contents include:1xCamera1x Reset Pin1x Connection cable9x DIY camouflage buttons1x User ManualI'm not sure what use the camouflage buttons would be unless you were planning to do some James Bond type activities and have the camera secreted on your body so I can't comment on that use.But as a simple and discrete camera for a business that perhaps needs to keep an eye on say cash handling at a till, this could be ideal. Recommended.

I bought this mini camera to monitor a small space, and it works really well. The video quality is clear, it’s easy to set up, and it’s small enough to hide out of sight. Delivery was fast and the instructions were easy to follow. I’m really happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to others!

I put this camera at my front door to record comings and goings, and it works great for its intended purpose. It comes with no case, just all the necessary wires and a battery, and a selection of caps you can choose which one you want on the camera. I installed it in a peephole and it works great, connected to 2.4ghz WiFi using the HDLiveCam app. The brightness correction was a bit iffy but functional, I found it worked better in black and white mode. The live stream has 4K quality but I couldn't work out how to save it in 4K to the SD card (sold separately). The app has motion detection which will notify your phone when something is detected and the footage is highlighted on the saved footage. Overall 4 stars my only complaint is the price I paid £45 but it does what it needs to.
