A+ Mop
I have been using traditional wring mops for years, and honestly, they constantly break and never seem to do a very good job cleaning. I live in a studio apartment, so one of the large bucket mop systems is not practical for me. I also tried some of the commercial-style sweepers, but I never felt like they cleaned well either. After my last wring mop broke, I decided to look for a different solution. I came across this JOYMOOP system, and after reading the reviews and seeing it on sale, I decided to give it a try. When I first opened the box, I was a little concerned because it was smaller than I expected and initially reminded me of a commercial sweeper. However, one thing I noticed immediately was the quality. This is nothing like the cheaply made sweepers I have used before. The bucket is made from sturdy plastic, the mop head feels well built, and the handle is very solid, making the entire system feel durable and high quality. After my first use, this mop completely changed my opinion. It works fantastic. The bucket size is perfect for smaller living spaces. It is compact, about the size of a small trash can, but still holds several gallons of water. The two-compartment design works very well: one side holds the cleaning solution while the other side removes excess water from the mop pad. It is extremely easy to use. You simply dip the mop into the cleaning side and then slide it through the wringer side to reach your desired moisture level. One thing I really like is that it does not oversaturate the floor like traditional wring mops often do. With laminate or wood flooring, too much water can be a problem. This mop applies just the right amount of moisture. If you want it drier, you can run it through the wringer side an extra time or two, but I found one pass to be perfect. The microfiber pad also holds water very well and feels high quality. The best part is how well it actually cleans. Because the mop is lightweight yet sturdy, it is easy to maneuver and covers a good amount of floor with each pass. It may require slightly more effort than a traditional wring mop, but it cleans far better. In the past, after using a wring mop, I would wipe up a spill with a paper towel afterward and still see dirt on the towel. With this mop, my floors actually feel clean. The microfiber pads are easy to remove and wash, and it also comes with two extra pads, which is a nice bonus. Cleaning the bucket afterward is simple, and storage is much easier than traditional mops. It stores neatly and does not constantly fall over in the closet. Overall, I am very impressed with this mop system and would absolutely buy it again.

Best Mopping System Ever
I've tried many different mops/mop systems over the years and either been dissatisfied with them or had them break on me. This includes a couple different designs by O-Cedar (all of which broke), swiffers, and a very well reviewed (and expensive) wet vac by Tineco (which doesn't work quite as well as a traditional mop and is a pain to clean out between uses). Nothing has beaten this for simplicity and elegance of design, ease of use, ease of cleanup after use, reusability, and durability. It's such a simple but brilliant design. First of all, let me address the only major complaint I've seen in other reviews, which is that you're mopping with dirty water. I'm not sure what world these people have been living in, but 90% of mopping systems do not separate clean and dirty water. This is how things have been done for centuries, how it is STILL done in professional settings such as hospitals, schools, factories, etc. and it seems to work just fine. Yes, there are systems now that do it, but they are all VERY new, in the minority, and always seem overly complicated to me with too many points of failure or other issues, or they are very expensive. To hold that as a standard upon which any mop system that DOESN'T do this isn't worth consideration and gets negative reviews is quite ridiculous. I think this comes down to people "feeling" icky about it rather than it actually being an issue with getting a truly clean floor, unless you believe we never had clean floors until 2021 (earliest I could find a design that did this, as of 2025 there are a few different options out there by different companies). That said, if this is very important to you as a feature, you can simply add the wash water to the drying side and basically use the unit in reverse and it works exactly how you would expect. I don't use it that way because this is not a feature I care about, but I've tried it and it works fine that way. Now, on to the things I like. The bucket is very simple, thick molded plastic with nothing on it that seems prone to breaking. The mechanism for removing the lid is very simple to use and very secure. There are no weird crevasses that make it hard to rinse off the lid and bucket after using it. The bucket does a great job scraping off any hair or other debris from the mophead on the way out. The pads are washable and reusable and the way they fit onto the mop head is incredible secure and nothing seems like it would be prone to breaking. They even smartly put the tag on the opposite side from the hooks so that you can pull on the tag to get the pad nice and tight before pressing it down. Now that's attention to detail! The mop itself is good quality, I'm glad they opted for sections that screw into each other rather than something that collapses down (like O-Cedar mop handles) because in my experience that design always breaks, I've had several different tools from various manufacturers with that design of handle, and they've ALL broken eventually. It's not quite as convenient, but I prefer it for the durability. I like that you can get the mophead more dry by passing it through the wringer multiple times, which makes it then suitable for use on walls, tables, etc. I like to shorten the handle and use it to clean my living room table as well as a big table on my front porch. I also use it for the tile in my shower. Overall I couldn't be happier with this mop. There's not a single thing I would change and I truly don't think it could be improved upon.

Great mop
This is a great mop overall. Putting the mop handle together was very easy and quick. I'd like the handle to be a bit more solid especially for the price. However, it works very well. The split sections to keep the mop dry and not just sitting in water is nice. It reaches and gets into the hard spots better than a swiffer. Don't think it's worth as much as charged though

Good mop - 4.5 stars
I’m on year three with this mop, and the head of it is finally starting to fail (Velcro and one of the tabs has broken). That being said, I am now looking to replace the mop - or just the mop head if possible. It is convenient, relatively easy to swap out mop pads, and does a really great job of picking up the various crud my dogs and/or kids leave on the floor. (Whether tile or wood). It’s also effective at really draining the pad - so I feel comfortable using it on a variety of flooring. Highly recommend.

The best mop for quick, smaller jobs! Easy to use!
I enjoy using this because it is easy to fill, empty and clean-up after smaller jobs. You can still do bigger jobs but if you need to do a couple of rooms quickly this is for you. I use it on tile and laminated floors the most but it can also be used on linoleum and epoxy coated concrete. Very versatile.

My favorite mop!
I am on my third one of these, they are my favorite! I love lightweight bucket and the method for wringing out the mop. It’s especially easy to use for cleaning walls and hard to reach places. Only thing I will say, if you use too hot water, the glue holding the Velcro dissolves causing the Velcro to come off and then the mop can’t be used with the bucket, it will get stuck.

Dirty water flows straight into the "wash" water
I convinced myself this was the last mop I'd ever need. The reviews seemed decent so I wanted badly to love this.. I even let my mother take my old, large O-Cedar spin mop/bucket set. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros, and you should absolutely review and believe the lowest ratings. This is a long review but very detailed. Let's start with the cons (TLDR at the end of the cons list): The most major issue you will notice is that the functionality of this mop/bucket partition makes no sense. The partition slopes down toward the wash side, so when you're wringing out the dirty mop water on the "dry" side, ALL of the dirty water flows straight into the clean "wash" side. Boy, was I so mad when I realized what was happening.. all of my clean water and cleaning product contaminated by a dirty floor. Ugh. This is a huge flaw in design because the product page says this product keeps clean and dirty water separate, but actually it doesn't. If you think you're just going to flip the partition to fix the issue, think again. There are two notches cut out for the handle, so flipping is not an option. To add insult to injury - say you think you'll cut an extra 2 notches on the opposite sides to flip the partition, the squeegee part would still be on the wrong side either way. There are no ways to fix this issue at home. Trust me - I've thought about this a lot. The seller/manufacturer would have to rethink this design altogether. (I have added a note at the end of this review with solutions to all of these issues***). A few more issues - albeit minor, in my opinion - You cannot wet the entire mop because about a half inch to an inch sticks out of the water. Since the dry side is elevated, it actually does squeegee *almost* all of the water out of the mop. I can see the bucket handle on just one side being a little problematic for some people, as the weight is mainly on one side. To stabilize the bucket, there should probably be two handles on either side that meet in the middle when you need to lift the bucket up, to easily distribute the weight and keep the bucket upright. My last issue is with the mop itself. Most of the pieces screw into each other. Which would be fine, if there were also a way to quickly reduce or extend the size of the handle for really tight spaces that you have to get under (example; in a galley kitchen, there is limited space to stretch out since it is generally a rather narrow space). If the mop handle could quickly be made shorter or longer with a twist or click of a button, and then locked in place, then this would not be an issue for me at all. I know some others have reported issues with the magnets on the mop, but for me, the mop itself isn't a huge deal breaker. If the bucket wasn't an issue overall, I think the flipping mop wouldn't be a major issue, either. I do wish you could flip which side is "up" on the mop, however, I have a Swiffer - so I'm used to an odd flat mop that kind of flops about, anyway. When I purchased this, I really just needed something a little more heavy duty to really scrub my floors without having to get on my hands and knees, so I really do wish this would have worked perfectly for me and everyone else who have left poorly rated reviews. [TLDR; Bucket is majorly flawed: Dirty water flows straight into clean water reservoir when wringing it out. Bucket is too short to properly wash or dry the mop. Mop length cannot be quickly adjusted and the magnets may snap into the upright position at any time.] The pros (to be honest, these are very minute positives): the size of the mop itself is quite nice. The handle is really long, even if you cannot easily retract/extend it. The overall aesthetic of the set is nice (except for all of the major design flaws listed above). Both pieces on the mop bucket can be disassembled and cleaned rather easily. Like I said, these are barely pros in the grand scheme of it.. We all just want a mop and bucket set to be the last one we ever have to buy! ***SOLUTIONS FOR THE MANUFACTURER/SELLER: PLEASE, fix these issues by making the mop bucket itself 2 inches taller, making the mop itself extendable (with a quick button press and a locking feature), and reversing the slope on the partition so the dirty water goes into the "dry" side instead of the clean wash water side. An even better solution would be to make this product the best by having 3 slots on the partition: a "clean water" section that slopes down into a "dirty water" section, and a "dry" section that ALSO slopes down into the dirty water section. The two slopes that lead to the dirty water section will keep everything clean and tidy, easily making this the last mop bucket anyone would ever need, until it breaks or otherwise gets damaged. In which case, repurchasing would be a no-brainer! About the media I posted alongside this review: The video shows the mop being wrung out and all of the dirty water flowing straight into the "wash" water side, which should be clean water only. The photos show how filthy my "clean" water and mopping solution side is after cleaning ONLY the kitchen (which is the smallest area in my house), the terribly designed partition that slopes the wrong way, and the amount of water in the "wash" side versus the "dry" side. A terrible shame.. I'm really sad. :(

Such a great concept . Such unnecessary flaws
I bought this to aid in the deep cleanup after a fire. I needed to clean the ceilings and walls, and this beat the heck out of climbing up and down a ladder every two swipes to rinse a rag. I had a real cheap Dollar Tree version of the flat mop I was using, and it was good, except the mop head was small and not very thick, so it was good for one swipe, then had to be rinsed out to remove the soot. So, I saw this and thought it was a FANTASTIC alternative and ordered one right away. All seemed well, until I went to use it. On a dry run, I tested the two slots, to be sure I would be able to stay on the ladder to rinse and squeegee dry. What a time saver! I dipped into the clean water tank, and it took a few tries to get it in the slot in the right. When it did go in, it was easy. I pulled it back out and commenced with the ceiling. BEAUTIFUL! It worked very nicely for me. Then I went to rinse it, jabbing it up and down a few times, inserted in the squeegee dry slot and pulled back out. I would have been utterly ecstatic, if not for the simple fact that the tank is not deep enough to rinse the entire mop, nor is the dry side deep enough to squeegee the entire mop. It is about an inch too shallow. The mop comes out mostly clean and read to go again, except for that inch or so at the top side. All the sludge and soot IO just cleaned is still there, unable to squeeze it out or rinse with clean water in the tank. That might be easily remedied if one could just turn the head the opposite way and dip again. That is not possible, as the head has a strong magnet that is made to lock the swiveling head in place for the rinse and dry. It only locks one way, and if you try to fit it in the slots the other way, it won't fit. I also found myself fighting the magnetic lock when using it overhead, as it tended to snap into the lock position when I didn't want it to. I don't know how such a major flaw got past R&D, when logic would tell them the tank HAS to be deeper than the length of the mop! The amazing squeegee takes out almost ALL the dirty water, allowing you to dip into the clean tank and emerge with a very clean reloaded mop. But only once. Since it is already not quite deep enough to submerge the whole mop, it also becomes less and less accommodating as you use the soapy water with each new reload. I would have loved to give this 5 stars, but right now, I wasted my money. It would be great for light cleaning, but nothing about my needs entails light duty anything.

Mai più senza!
Assolutamente fantastico!

Not a Joymoop mop
This product is not a Joymoop brand mop, and it comes with 2 pads not 4. Recommend you avoid.

Allego foto
