We spent 6 weeks at a different location and the master bedroom mattress was so hard and uncomfortable it hurt my back and hips. We had to switch temporarily to a different bed. Solution: Tempur-Cloud 2-Inch Mattress Topper. Sleep was comfortable. Only con is we would prefer the mattress pad completely envelope the foam pad. It only covers the top (one side), moving it is difficult. The pad and cover are bulky and hard to move once it is removed from the bag. The foam pad got dirty on the drive home which is not cleanable like the mattress cover.

It does not come encased in a cover but has a mattress cover to put over it. The quality of the foam can be seen and is very poor. It has a very strong odor. I have a cheaper one I bought from a big box store & I see & feel no difference, so save your money.

Thin and too soft

Our old mattress just wasn't as comfortable as it used to be. Not so much for me as for my husband. He found this on Amazon and asked me to order the 2" version. Like most Tempur-Pedic products, I think it runs a bit warm, so if you have issues with getting overheated when you sleep this might not be for you. For me it's okay and my husband loves it. Able to hold off on replacing the mattress for awhile now!

Wife always prefers a softer mattress. I like firm. Got this for her birthday. Didn't think I'd like it but I do!!!
