Junk-Doesnโt work.
My previous review disappeared or was removed. So I am writing it again. This fountain pump not work like it should. Totally direct sunlight with or without the battery. It does not work! Will come on everyday for a week then wonโt come on for days until I unplug the solar and plug it back in. Waste of money I will have to buy something else again! The worst part is it stopped working 2 days after the return window closed. So Iโm just out the $$ now!

Very good product but did not include right plastic tube connections for pump to fountain ,, once I did that it worked right away , hope it lasts for awhile

Battery backup a must
Moves a lot of water. I was concerned that this pump wouldn't have enough vertical lift. It raises the water about 4 feet. I'm happy with the purchase. I added a battery backup and it lasts well into the night, and starts pumping again when light hits the panel in the morning

Does not work in even slightly overcast conditions
Giving two stars because it works well when it is running, but take full direct sun to work at all. The product says it works in overcast conditions - it definitely does not at all.

Works for shallow ponds
Doesn't work in deep ponds but in a shallow frog pond it's great. Easy to set up and only takes 5 minutes. Works great when the sun is shining directly on the panel. If it's overcast it's a slow trickle but still keeps the water from going stagnate. The cord length is long. It's a great value for your money especially if you want solar. Ours had been on our frog pond for 6 months. The frog love it, the Lilly pads love it. I set it up and haven't had to touch it since

Disappointing.
This pump barely pumps water unless the solar panel is in full complete sun. I have another poposoap pump that pumps really well even in full shade. So I really donโt understand why this one is performing so poorly. Very disappointed for a really expensive pump.
