I like the fact that someone has thought of how the catch the bits from the overlocker in order to keep work surface and floor clean. Less to hoover up

This product is brilliant I love it , no mess and easy to empty ,makes my sewing a dream

I was fed up with getting covered in thread and cut off fabric & heard about this on a blog and am so pleased I did. Firstly, for what it is, 2 pieces of plastic & a bag it is expensive but it keeps me & my floor clean. The bag that comes with it is just boring plain white so I made one using the overlocker & some left over voile that matches my window dressing. I have read reviews where people say the bag drops out & they have had to glue it on. I don't think they can be putting it on the plastic correctly as I haven't had that issue with the provided bag, or the 1 I made. It is a simple idea yet so effective and it also means that the sewing table is protected as they provide sticky foam pad that you stick on the bottom of the plastic base which them sits on the table. This is great as my sewing table was beginning to get marked from the overlockers feet which was annoying as it is a reconditioned singer table & my pride and joy. The hole in the plastic overhangs the end if the table & whilst overlocking the bits just drop in. I have found emptying it can be a bit of a pig if you have a lot in the bag and don't want to take it off the plastic (or can't cause you have glued it on,) so I would empty it regularly. I am so pleased I got this. I was working with velvet for xmas presents before the festive period & had to hoover every time I used the overlocker, not just the floor, my legs as well as ended up covered in bits. If I had had this I know that wouldn't have happened. I have knocked a star of this for the cost £25.80 for this seems extreme, but it does work.

I only gave this 4 stars because the bag would not fit. However, I am more than happy to use it with ordinary plastic bags and just throw the bag away when required, then there is no chance of dropping any rubbish. Like everyone else, wish I'd got one sooner, far easier than trying to anchor the plastic bag under the machine by itself.

Bought to use with my overlocker. Works OK, but the way the net fastens onto the plastic frame needs improvement. Net fastens on by the use of elastic around the top. A bit fiddly to get on, then if you brush against it, it falls off! Needs to have some sort of lip to stop this happening. Thinking of gluing the thing on!

Love this mat. Catches all the bits, sits perfectly under my Janome overlocker and the delivery was quicker than expected.

Good but I had to put sellotape on to hold the bag on

Good idea ,and it do catch the waste, but i had to glue the bag to the plastic, and now it is perfect.
