Pumpkin Parts

My 21 month old granddaughter loved this! Momma helped her "push" the pieces in her pumpkins and she was THRILLED!

We like to give away small decorated pumpkins to the younger kids that come trick or treating to our house. These pumpkin parts are great. The parents tell us that the kids move the parts around on their pumpkins like a Mr Potato Head toy.

So cute! My kids loved it. So much less messy than carving. I would suggest using a knife to get the holes started for the pieces as you might break the plastic shoving it in if the pumpkin is really hard. Also keep an eye on the pumpkin even though you're not carving it if you're keeping them inside or around small kids. We had them outside almost a month and even though the pumpkin still looked fresh, I noticed mold had grown where the pumpkin was pierced and the bigger pieces hid the mold.

Bought 2 sets of these: one for me and one for my grandson. We both loved them. Lots of options for decorating pumpkins and very easy to use. I did start the holes with a knife as many suggested, but not a big deal as the result was simple pumpkin decorating with no mess. And reusable next year too!

My daughters love this. We did follow the suggestions of others and punched the holes first but it was super easy and super freaking cute. They just loved that they got to choose what went on the pumpkin. I might order another one soon.

My 2-year-old son loved these! He is still too young to really help with carving a pumpkin, so we bought these so he could design his own pumpkin face. I had my husband use a screwdriver to start a hole to make it easier, but then my son was able to just pick the parts he wanted for his pumpkin. You could probably do without the screwdriver, but pumpkins are so hard - the screwdriver really does make it easier.

These were fun and easy to use. We did discover that a small screwdriver (or something similar) was needed to help start the hole in the pumpkin. The plastic tabs were not sturdy enough to push through the tough outer skin of the pumpkin without bending.

You may need to cut a hole to be able to push these in as they are not sharp. They do look really cute though. I like that they aren't sharp as it makes them safer for children to use with adult supervision. Lots of combinations and of course you can use them year after year without the mess of traditional pumpkin carving.
