Like other reviews note, the handle is purely decorative. It will NOT function as a handle without the base tipping and your items spilling out. That said, the overall unit functions perfectly as an indoor decorative wood holder leaving a small footprint. The feet under the carrier take up a space of 13” deep by 7” wide. The overhang of the oval-shaped carrier is 19.5” deep by 13” wide. With the faux handle, the unit is 17” tall. Despite the handle being completely ineffective as a handle, it can serve the purpose of supporting your wood pile so the logs on top don’t fall off. Assembly was easy and intuitive, and the matte black finish was nice. It’s sturdy enough, and the price was fair.

This firewood basket is a little small but it holds about 3 average pieces of firewood just fine, and it looks very nice on the fireplace.

Let's start with building it; Easy! It took 5 minutes to get it assembled. A very intuitive way to create this product. Once built; Holds the firewood needed for a small fireplace. Because it's so open, loading and unloading of the wood is nice and easy. Can be decorated depending on the holiday. Super lightweight so it's very mobile. Quality; Surprisingly durable. The cute little legs look flimsy, but one put together they do thier job very well. The handle will swivel a bit no matter how tight you get it which is more than fine for my use case. The base can hold the wood easily without worry of it bending. I would highly recommend this product at the price they are asking which is just about 25 (usd) after taxes.

easy to put together. very, very sturdy. made of real metal. i am buying a second one. this solved my largest problem of all. it will sit on uneven flooring. my heat shield is a little over one inch higher than the floor. this straddles that "bump" with two legs on the floor and two legs on the heat shield. it looks fine that way, the tilt not being at all lopsided looking. it can sit right next to the wood-burning hearthstone without melting. wonderful purchase. i have such large hunks of wood, it can't hold as much as i need ... i burn 8 cords of wood each winter. otherwise it would hold all i needed.

It looks good, but it's not great. Once the wood is in it, you can move it using the top handle because all the wood will slide off it.

This is a nice little addition to the hearth. I use it for kindling and it holds a ton. Not sure I’d use it for much volume of larger logs (I have a bigger rack for that) but for small pieces it works perfectly. It was a little bit of a pain to put together, but I was able to do it.

The worst log carrier I've owned. The pivot on the handle won't stay tight so eventually you drop all the wood on the ground in the snow or on the stairs going into your house or all over the floor in your house. I've tightened the handle 3 times and still issues so in the trash it goes. Don't waste you money.
