Apex meat sticks really live up to their name, insomuch as these are hands down, and by a wide margin, the best shelf stable meat sticks I have ever had.The only way you are going to do any better than these is if you go directly to a butcher shop to get fresh made, refrigerated meat sticks.What is so great about them?Everything really, but I will get specific.1st, these are huge! They should probably call them meatzilla sticks because is are about seven inches long and over a half inch in diameter. You notice how thick they are even before you get them out of the package.2nd, the taste and texture are superb. While I can only speak to the original variety because that is what I tried, it has a very pleasant, very natural flavor. Put another way, these taste like real meat, seasoned with natural ingredients, not the typical mix of preservatives and vegetable proteins.3rd, you can tell the quality of these sticks is a cut above. These are made in the USA, clearly by people who are focused on putting out a very high quality product.Whether you are looking for keto snack options or are just a fan if meat sticks, you owe it to yourself to get some of these.I am already trying to decide what flavor to get next and wishing they would offer variety packs, so I could try them all at once.I sincerely cannot recommend these highly enough.

These are really good and make a great go to during these busy days getting everything ready for the holidays. They are full of protein and big enough to fill you up when there's no time to grab lunch.We are big beef jerky, slim Jim's, meat sticks, and meat bites eaters. These Apex Meat Sticks are an excellent quick way to get protein and actually tastes good.These meat sticks are soft inside like a slim Jim but the casing is a little bit thicker, probably to hold it's big size all together. They taste like smoked jerky. They are a little bigger around than a penny and longer than a pencil.Great quality and quantity for the price. Would even make a great gift for your jerky loving family and friends. They were a big hit here with a large family of different generations, so if you like jerky and/or meat sticks, then you will like these.

First off, this ranks as one of the better tasting "meat stick" snacks I've had, which was especially surprising as I was half expecting there to be some alteration in the flavor due to the focus on making this a "Protein" boost, which depending on what gets added to help a product achieve its target of 10g (what this one has) or more. And it also tastes MUCH better than the meat stick snacks, the specific brands of which I won't name here, that basically just taste like an over-salted piece of beef jerky without the same protein benefit and slightly more calories (160 compared to this brand's 120, it's not a huge improvement, but depending on your use for the item and your daily caloric intake, may or may not even be a big dent).The downside is that the sodium is still just as bad as any other meat stick snack out there at 550mg. And even if it has no sugar, it still has corn syrup, which makes its no sugar packagin boast kind of deceptive.But again, the key difference here is protein content and flavor, and really the fact that this actually tastes like a nice summer sausage and not like someone rolled a breakfast sausage through a pile of salt works in its favor.So these beef sticks have good flavor but aside for that extra 4 grams of protein per serving (compared to the average 6 grams in most competitors' products of a similar size), they're only slightly above par.

The casing is thin enough to bite through easily without thinking too much about what it's made of.Reading the ingredients, I can recognize and pronounce them all - no faux food or chemical storm here.There are really tasty! I would absolutely reorder these and have them on hand for hiking, day trips, and more.

These aren’t your gas station grab meat sticks, these are high quality snacks!The taste is about what you’d expect, meaty with some spices and a long, lingering aftertaste.I work from my car, so I’ll bring these with as a midday power boost snack for the next few weeks. But I’ll be back to buy some of these before our next camping trip. I’m definitely interested in some of the other flavors, a variety pack would be a great option if they offered it!This pack had a very acceptable expiration date, just under a year out. I highly recommend this product and plan to purchase additional flavors in the future.

These are really good meat sticks. They are fatter and meatier than most meat sticks. The flavor is really nice.
