I've used other deshedding products before and I brush my two dogs all the time. Ones a long hair double coat where my other dog is a mixed coat double coat long and medium. Normally with other brands and regular shampoo/conditioners it gets that job done, but not as much hair as this does! I've been grooming both my husbands family dogs and my family's dogs for over 10 years and so far nothing has gotten the undercoat on my dogs like this did! I'm really impressed. I like to pride myself on my clean and brushed out dogs and usually a bath, dry, brush, only results in maybe a few medium balls of hair that I usually clump together to "measure", today a lot came out in the bath, during the dry, and during a brush - my mixed coat dog almost nothing came out during a brush and usually she sheds forever and ever and it never stops, but today it seemed to really be reduced to maybe thin pinch in total!!! Both were very shiny and soft in the bath and after towel dry then blow dry. I don't know about the scents though. I have a sensitive nose and I strongly dislike coconut (shampoo) but the coconut wasn't that unpleasant! I wish it had a better or less "warm" smell as I prefer bright citrus and clean linen type smells. The conditioner is scented as "almond" and I would say it smells like artificial almond food extract, but then if I'm really close up to the concentrate it kind of smells like.... Car wash? I don't know how to explain it but it just does. It's not unpleasant it just reminds me of the car wash. It's not the best smells I'd choose for any of my smells - but the performance of the deshedding power of the shampoo and conditioner really out shine the dislike of both scents, but I don't mind them either - it's not overwhelming or strong and the smell doesn't transfer so I'm happy even if it isn't my favorite smell. I also diluted both 16:1 like instructed and it still lathers up really well for the shampoo and the conditioner I couldn't tell because obviously it wouldn't bubble up but I think it did a great job too. Lots of hair came out and that's what I wanted! Love "Girl With The Dogs" on YouTube too. Always something to learn from Vanessa and proud to see her products although a little pricey, they work really well and get my dogs undercoats out and my dogs feel clean, lighter, fluffier, softer, sleek and smell clean and feel clean. Love it! Sorry for the weird pics but we're in bed is late after a very long day plus groom, and I used the flashlight because we're in bed lol but you can tell how fluffy and light their coats look! Great stuff! Maybe next revamp there will be a different scent line, and id be thrilled to give an extra extra extra star! But overall seriously good product!

I had seen this product used in the videos by Girl with the Dogs on YouTube, and it seemed too good to be true. However, it is true and a downright miracle to us! I used it on 3 different dogs several times now. I'll tell you about the very first time to truly demonstrate its properties. First is an Australian shepherd who had mats in her long fur. Second is a GSD mix who was about to shed his summer coat to get ready for the winter weather. The last is a very short hair terrier mix whose coat gives off those tiny thin hairs that make you feel like you're wearing a hair shirt if you sit in a chair in which she's been sitting or if you pet her for a bit. You always come away with at least a handful of those little hairs if not covered everywhere she's touched you. While using this product on the Australian Shepherd, the mats just came out of her coat while washing her. I didn't even have to brush them out. When brushing her a couple of days later, I only got one hand of hair out of her, and she had not shed anything in the interim. I had to brush it out of her to get it at all. With the shepherd mix, all of his shedding hair had come out during the wash. And his coat, as with all of them, is shiny and soft, and makes him a delight to pet. He's also a very happy boy at not having to be brushed or have me not picking at the tufts of shedding fur that call to me to pull them as he sheds. He hates that. Last, but not least, it's the terrier mix. We weren't certain it would be the worth using on her, but we decided to give it a try and is it ever a blessing! I massaged it into her coat, making sure to brush forward and back with my fingers along her torso where her constant shedding occurs. Her hair always feels coarse and not really pleasant to the touch however I have it a workout to try and get some hair to shed and had not one single hair come off on my hand and her hair is soft, coat shiny. Her brown brindle practically flows like gold. I can't say enough good things about this product! I'm very sensitive to fragrance and smells. This is so light I can hardly smell it, and I didn't get the migraine I do with other products. The wet dog smell is not an issue at all after using this but I'm sure they'll get that back after a month of playing in the yard... then it's time for another bath. The terrier mix has very sensitive skin, and the Australian Shepherd gets itchy easily as well, but neither of them had a reaction to this, and neither are they doing their usual scratching either. This result will really help with identifying what in their environment is causing the skin issues for them. Give this a try. You won't be sorry and will likely become a regular customer as we now are. Though we got around a dozen washes out of this purchase, we have switched to buying it by the gallon given the numbers of dogs and times we wash.

Be prepared. This stuff works! I have a Lab & a Golden, both of which blow their coats twice a year & shed quite a bit in between. I am insane about making sure it is under control inside my house. So, I have tried numerous brands of deshedding shampoos & conditioners. I have watched Girl With The Dogs many times. So, I thought giving her’s a try was worth a shot. I was amazed with the results after using this product. It loosened the undercoats like I’ve never seen before. The amount of hair that came in during the wash & after was crazy! How can dogs have this much hair?! It also smells nice. I bought the large bottles because they will last & it is economical. I recommend trying this shampoo & conditioner. Just be prepared for the hurricane of hair. You will need to brush & vacuum for a couple of days following, but it was better than little by little. Their coats also remained shiny, soft, & clean long after the wash.

Personally I hate how it smells, it actually hurts my nose, I do not know why, but my boyfriend LOVES how it smells and I think it's just a me thing. Five stars anyway!!!! I wash a whole ass dog out of my dog during bathtime and then brush a whole ass second dog out of her after. This stuff is fantastic for deshedding and my toller loses like a third of her bulk in underfluff every time, and shes as silky soft as a dream. It IS NOT a skin irritant, I actually noticed my own hands were softer after using it, it's just the smell that disagrees with me. Please ignore the check that says it's a skin irritant, thats some kind of AI addition I can't get rid of because apparently it thinks the smell not agreeing with me counts. Anyway if you can be touchy with smells be aware that the conditioner is Potent, but it's very much worth it.

Works amazing. So easy to use and dogs love it. The shampoo and conditioner combo is my go to, leaving dogs feeling soft and smelling great while desheding all in the same time.

An amazing product! I have 6 dogs, 4 ofthe 6 are double coated breeds and 2 of those are German Shedders ;) . I have tried SO MANY deshedding shampoos and I won't say they didn't work at ALL but I would say NONE have performed anywhere near this product. On June 21st I bathed all 6 of my dogs. After the bath I brushed them all and haven't brushed since. I did notice a remarkable reduction of hair I needed to clean up around the house. Today was the 1st day (6/25/2026) I have brushed them since bath day. I couldn't believe the LACK of hair coming off my dogs. Especially my older female GSD who is the absolute worst shedding dog I have ever owned even out of all my shepherds ... EVER, LOL! The video is of me brushing her. Usually by the time I am done brushing all the dogs I probably have close to a 13 gallon trash bag full of hair. I'm not even getting brushfuls now. I have to say I'm ecstatic that it works so well because having 6 dogs I bit the bullet and bought it by the gallon for the savings. I bought one gallon of shampoo and 1 gallon of conditioner. This product was worth every penny I spent, especially when you consider the cost of even having one GSD professionally bathed/deshedded. Tips for using. The longer you can let the shampoo and/or conditioner sit the better. I let the shampoo sit on the dogs for 10 mins, rinsed, allowed the conditioner to sit for 10 minutes and rinsed. Scrub it in good, especially the higher shed area like the breeches and chest. (Gently) Use a rake on the rinse to make sure you are getting all the way down to the skin. Residue can make a dog itchy. Leaves the dogs feeling softer, shinier and has a very mild scent that won't overwhelm your dog. I find many shampoos/conditioners perfumed for the human nose not thinking of how overwhelming (and prohibitive for their sense of smell) strong fragrance can be.

This product was amazing! I used the fluff off shampoo and conditioner for my golden retriever and I would just see all the loose fur coming off of him. Much less shedding after the blow dry than when I use other products. It laters well and rinses out easily and leaves my goldens fur looking super shiny and healthy.

This stuff works wonders on my double coated dogs. Their coats look wonderful and smell great

Going to a groomer every month in this economy... no can do. My pyr usually costs me a fortune, but this conditioner has already saved me a ton of money (get a good blow dryer if you want to try this at home)! Smells great, leaves my usually tangled beast soft, fluffy and smelling great. Hasn't improved her opinion on the bath, but that's a bit much to ask for I guess. I usually struggle to brush her out, but I get a good 2 weeks of easy brushing with this stuff which was far beyond my expectations. Can't wait to try the shampoo as well soon. My groomer actually thought I was "cheating" on her with another groomer when I brought my pup in eventually (can't completely replace the beast tamers yet). That's it! Just get it.

I used the shampoo and conditioner on my three cats. Their fur has been so soft and fluffy. Shedding has decreased significantly since the bath. Which is awesome because three cats make a lot of fur that floats around no matter how often I brush them and vacuum the house. If your willing to bathe your cats I recommend.
