I needed this as a power source for two plugs and also for an IP camera that required a USB power connection, so this fitted the bill and avoided the need for an ugly adaptor sticking out in the kitchen. I added a right-angled USB adaptor for a neater finish and that works fine. This adaptor is ebay 99p if you need one. Installation Logically positioned connections make this a pretty easy install if you are dealing with a relatively new wiring set up. If you have older electrics be prepared for a bit of tugging and bending of wires and some swear words. Also note that the back does protrude a little bit and I had to chip off some of the plaster to make room for the USB bit at the top. It was not too big a deal to do but just be prepared for that possibility. The screws to hold the wires are sturdy (sometimes these can be flimsy) and it easily held the two cables to each terminal for Live, Neutral and Earth. If this was used as a spur and you needed 3 cables for each terminal it might be a different story, or at least take a little more time. Just take your time if it gets complicated as you do not want to make mistakes on electrical fittings. Take care to not let the screw driver slip and scratch the face of it, it is easily done. The pattress screws themselves were of decent quality (sometimes you might want to use longer ones). I would always suggest to use some appropriate coloured sealant around the edge to give a super neat finish around the plug. I have done this with grey sealant in the photo on wobbly tiles. It just looks neat and prevents any water or dirt ingress as well. Worth the 2 minutes it will take to do that extra step in my view.

This is a good product, but you cannot install it yourself, get a professional electrician to do this. The USB plugs are good but take a long time to power up a tablet, far better on every other device.

This socket was a breeze to install, with good quality clamps for the mains cabling to hold secure. The back of the socket is reasonably shallow, and noticeably shallower than some other USB-enabled sockets I've installed, making this one much easier cramp cables behind. Finish is of good quality. The only thing really to note is that the 3.1A power for the ports is the shared output for the two USB ports. If you plug in two power hungry devices that 15.5W will be split. There is a different version that supports USB-C and up to 30W delivery, I'm still hoping for a 45W version to allow for direct charging of laptops.

Nice product with a nice matt finish. Easy to install to standard fittings. Cables are clearly marked so only a fool could wire it wrong. Nice feel to the switches. A little pricey if I'm to find a negative compared to other available sockets but the colour turns them in to a bit of a feature rather than an eye sore.

Best quality product in my opinion. At a great price.

I bought 15 of these for my house, test fitted one (in an existing poorly-set wall box, not an issue with the faceplate!). They work great, charged my iPhone 8 without difficulty. The USB sockets are not 'smart'; they are powered all the time, even when the switch is in the off position, so it would be very much up to the device to stop drawing power.

Looks great, USB ports charge phones as described. Only reason I've not set this to 5 stars is the ports don't seem to push enough current to charge certain devices. I couldn't get a Nintendo switch pad to charge out of either socket but it charges fine from the USB on the console, unsure why the pad wouldn't charge as the sockets claim to push more amperage than the switch dock.
