It wouldn’t lay flat if you tried to wrap around the sides. You could probably buy a bigger magnet sheet and cut strips for the sides if you wanted to have them covered. **Q: Is the magnet stainless look easy to clean?** A: Yes very easy to clean. I just use the dishwater before I start doing dishes. No harsh chemicals needed. Watch with very little soap, rinse then dry with paper towel. **Q: does this show fingerprints like the SS dishwasher finishes do?** A: No it does not show Finger print. **Q: It won't stick, what am i doing wrong??** A: I had to move mine to the bottom part of my fridge! It’s to heavy to stay on my dishwasher. Every time I pull the dishwasher door down, it fell off.
