This works for my original Ring doorbell. Super easy to install in only a couple of minutes. My doorbell was charging in no time. Highly recommend this power supply kit. Just be sure you are ordering the correct one for your model.

Had my hopes up all for nothing. Didn't work for me. Didn't charge my device. Didn't even keep it at the same battery life. Kept dying as if it wasn't even connected.

I give it 3 stars because it did not served the purpose of what I actually wanted it for. Functionality wise I assume it does work— since I did not tested if indeed actually worked. It is not practical in the sense of trying to conseal the cables because half way there is an adapter/transformer that will not allow any cable hiding accessory to be used. I have purchased another product that has transformer connector that plugs into the wall, and just a long cable that connects to the actual ring that can be hidden easily without worry of the adapter/transformer in the middle of the way.

Thank you for developing this adapter. It has given me piece of mind knowing that I no longer will have to take the ring door bell down and recharge it. Installation was quick and easy.

It works perfectly, has a long cord and is easy to hook up. I'm really glad I bought it.

Did not work on the Original Ring doorbell. Does not power up! Returning.

I bought this for a Ring doorbell not a Ring doorbell 2, well I hooked it up and it didn't work, I was going to send it back but I missed the time frame. So it sat in the box for a couple weeks, this weekend I opened the box and cut the cord behind the resistor and hooked it up again, guess what it now works. Should have done that the first time.
