I was able to seal up my main entries with this stuff, and it sealed it up TIGHT! No more draft! It arrived in a simple bag, rolled up. It has a backing you peel off to expose the sticky part, and it’s a 3M style adhesive, which in my experience is about top of the line in adhesive. You get a good length of it in a roll. Easily enough to do two doors, with a bit left over. It’s black, like most weather stripping. I pit it up months ago, but waited to review until I was sure it was t going to fall off or anything. It’s held up perfectly. I even had to double it up at the top part of one door, and it still worked. If you have a draft, this will stop the air from leaking in/out, saving you money! So in a way it kinda pays for itself. The price is good considering how much you get, and the quality of the product. Just remember that YOU HAVE TO THOROUGHLY WIPE THE AREA WITH ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL before you apply this, or any adhesive tapes. That’s why most people fail. If you don’t do that, I don’t care what you use, it will not properly adhere to the surface. Follow that rule, and your projects will be a success. I hope my review helps.

I’ve been using this weather stripping around my office door, and it’s made a noticeable difference. The installation is simple. Just cut it to size, peel the backing, and press it into place. It doesn’t take long to get everything set up. The fit is good. It compresses well and fills small gaps without making the door hard to close. The material has a nice softness to it. It’s flexible enough to form a seal but still firm enough to hold its shape. The adhesion is strong when applied to a clean surface. Once it’s in place, it stays put and doesn’t peel off. It does a great job with noise reduction. I use it for sound dampening, and it helps cut down outside noise. It also helps block drafts, which is useful for keeping a room more comfortable. The durability seems solid so far. It holds up well with daily door use and doesn’t flatten out quickly. For the price, the value for money is very good, especially for how much you get in one roll. Overall, this is a simple and effective solution for sealing gaps, reducing noise, and improving comfort.

This is extremely easy to use, self adheres to the surface, came with wipes to prep the surface but I didnt even need to use them. it does the job wonderfully.

Great weather stripping to keep the wind out of our house in the cold winters in Northern Michigan!! Fits with our windows and doors better than many we have tried and stays attached.

This product fit my door frame perfectly. It was easy to work with and went on easily. The adhesive feels nice and strong. It completely sealed the doorway, and it totally helped with sound transmission, but, it did not block out the light at all. It was shocking how much light it let through. I got the white one to match the door. Maybe the black works better. I wanted to write this review in case anyone expects to block light. At least the white version will not do that at all.

Very helpful for my exterior door gaps! Easy to install, decent compression range. Good adhesion

Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol. Wear the gloves that come with the product. Open the chemical soaked packet with the cloth inside, then wipe the area. Do not get any of the chemical on your skin or eyes, as it mentions that it can be toxic. Wait 5 minutes, then place the rubber door seal strip. I used some scissors to cut them to appropriate sizes. I noticed that when I followed the instructions correctly that the adhesive on the rubber seal was pretty strong. I tried closing/opening the door after placing each rubber seal to test if the door would close completely. After placing the 3rd rubber seal, I noticed that the door wouldn't close anymore. So I could only apply one on the side and one at the top of the frame. There's still a small gap. I'll need a different, smaller seal to cover that part. After installation: it makes a peeling noise when opening the door as it forms a tight seal with the rubber. It does dampen noise, and completely blocks air flow where applied. If the rubber was softer, or not as thick, maybe I could've applied the 3rd rubber seal. But, it's durable at least.

Bought this to add some soundproofing to my external apartment door because noise traveled so easily. I think it works, tested it to see if I can hear and it seems to be muffling at least some of the hallway traffic and noise. Easy to install, it was a tight fit with my door at first so it was a little hard to fully close and lock the door for a couple weeks. After a couple weeks it compressed enough that locking is no longer as tight. Only cons is the smell is sooooooooooo strong. Very strong chemical smell when installing and for a couple days after. It does dissipate though
