This is very affordable. The pros: easy to clean by just wiping down with a damp cloth. Heats up quickly. Not too heavy or big. Can be used for a multitude of things including sandwiches, hot dogs, quesadillas, toast, etc. My kids can use it independently. cons: there is only one temperature. The plates aren’t removable for cleaning.Overall, a great buy. I’ve had mine for about 5 years and it’s still going strong with regular use. I can fit regular bread on this with no issues. I use the Sarah Lee artisan bread and it fits fine. I make toast regularly and we have panini night one night a week. I toasted hot dog buns yesterday and they fit with no issues.

I had one of these when I was a kid. So ordering this one I had expectations! But no this little sand which maker gets the job done. I'm a college student now and on my own so sometimes it's just easier to eat these during hmwk or studying. Or even just a quick snack. It has made life easier for this college student. Clean up is easy, once maker is cooled down just wipe off any chz that may have spilled off

I got this for my mom as a Christmas gift. She was using a model that must have been 40 years old, but still worked. However, it looked like hell and the worn out cord was not encouraging either. I took the chance and got this one from one of the sellers outside of Amazon. It was shipped on time and the quality of the product is very good. This thing makes priceless toasted sandwiches, just like at the stores. Highly recommended. She loves it.

YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TOO FULL OR EVERYTHING LEAKS OUT AND MAKES A MESS. AND IF YOU DON'T PUT ENOUGH FILLING IN IT, THEN IT HARDLY PAYS TO EVEN BOTHER.

It makes a good toasted sandwich

I like the look of the machine but once I tried to lift the top I fund that the machine leans forward. It is because of design defect. The legs are too inside that it cannot keep the balance once touched the handle or at the time of the lifting the top. I am sorry to return the item but it is almost impossible to use a item which leans forward each time anyone wants to lift the top or touch the handle. It is absolutely a design defect.

I only rated this product a 3 because the heat is not evenly distributed. For the price its alright.....but I wish that I would have invested in something better. The Panini maker heats up quickly and is very easy to clean but overall you have to flip the sandwiches to get a fully even cook.

The trays inside are not detachable so it is a little hard to clean them. But otherwise good product for its cost.
