I recently purchased this book as I have a small child and decided he needed some books. I had this book as a small child and loved it so much so when I found it for sale on amazon I knew I had to buy it. It arrived extremely fast and was packed well. The story is literally how every mother feels and not only is it enjoyable to read to your little one but relateable. I often find myself desperately going to the toilet for five minutes peace only to have my little one barge in and talk to me. So I totally relate to Mrs large in this book. Fantastic illustrations and easy to read words I think this book is a must have for young children.

Bought this for my 2 year grandson as a mothers day gift from him for my daughter, as I used to read it to her when she was a child. It was one of her favourites. It was also it's 30th year edition and I thought it appropriate as she has just turned 30! She was delighted and I'm sure will enjoy reading it to him at bedtime.

Bought this for my daughter as I remembered liking it as a child and wss pleased to find it in board book form. It's a longer story than some others for her age (14 months) so sometimes she'll stop me before it's finished but it's fun to point out the elephants, which she loves.

Good board book bought for niece who loves reading as a birthday present. No marks or blemishes when received.

Love this book, I remember my mum reading it to me when I was little and now I enjoy reading it to my daughter! The board aspect means it will last longer than other books in our house. I’d recommend to anyone who hasn’t read it - as a new mum it’s very relatable lol

Adorable book about what mom life is really like. We have one in our kid library, but I bought one for decor in my bathroom too. Reminds me to take five mins of peace.

I ordered the book after Sophie Dahl read the book to an online audience and it was just so cute and so relatable. Beautiful story, cute illustrations and meaningful. My kids loved it.
