I love this lamp - it's the right height, throws off a decent amount of warm glow, and looks and feels like a model from an expensive home store. Great for illuminating a dim corner of a room and to use as a reading lamp in your favorite reading nook. I love the retro yet modern shape and style. The base is a good weight so you don't have to worry about it tipping over, and assembly was fairly quick and easy (about five to ten minutes.) My only complaint is I wish the on/off switch was on the base of the lamp itself or under the globe and not on the cord, but that's a minor quibble.

I love this; love how it looks; was easy to put together. It just makes me smile every time I look at it! It is not bright enough, in my opinion, to light a whole room. It's the perfect size for a corner or behind a sofa. It is very stable and I like the foot peddle on/off switch.

I was about to buy the Article Moon lamp but got an idea to search Amazon. This lamp is identical! So heavy/sturdy, assembled in under 3 min, looks high end, and very bright, much brighter than I expected. So happy. Looks great with my mid century modern living room, predominantly with West Elm furniture.

I rarely write reviews, but this was a great purchase! I spent hours surfing many different stores for the perfect floor lamp to go with my mid-century modern living room, where I need to have a standing desk in the corner. Desk lamps have not provided enough light at night. Given the reasonable price, I thought the lamp would seem cheap, but it does not. I think the dark broze is a nice color, and the height is perfect for my desk. The lamp feels sturdy and was super sime to put together. I saw several people posted there was no light bulb included. I wondered if they knew to look in the styrofoam at the bottom of lamp? The seller should add a bright note with an arrow. I bought the smart bulb that popped up with the lamp as it was much cheaper than the Hue bulbs. It fit in the lamp just fine and was simple to set up (at least once I realized I had the wrong Wi-Fi password). The smart bulb was critical for me as I wanted to be able to to dim the lamp and use multi colors with simple voice commands. I love it!

It’s a pretty lamp and has a nice retro look to it. The frosted glass sphere cover is well made. The instructions did say that you should not fully enclose the light bulb but the sphere cover does cover the light bulb? Nothing disastrous has happened yet. The biggest downside is that the lamp is kind of awkwardly short. Not what you expect from a typical floor lamp height? I would be all over a taller lamp if they made one.

Absolutely beautifully simple and well made. The globe is not cheap looking and is perfect size. Most like this have small globes. Lots of light and the stem once together looks almost seamless. I would buy again if I had another place in my house for it.

This lamp is not too tall. It is just right beside a desk or chair for reading, while providing some general illumination to the room. It is just a little larger than a pro basketball, if you happen to be a pro basketball player. (It measures 30.75 inches in circumference, versus 29.5 for the basketball. This makes it a bit over 9 3/4 inches in diameter, using pi.) But mostly it is a geometric objet d'art. It looks, in your room, as though Frank Lloyd Wright has come along and drawn it over there, with his compass and rule. If you like the moon, you'll love this lamp. As for the construction, the post and cup that hold the globe are steel (as confirmed with a magnet). The globe is glass, but has a plastic mating collar at the bottom. When the three pieces of the post are screwed tightly together the lamp feels solid. It is possible excessive rotations of the lamp could unscrew the post pieces somewhat, but this is no real failing. Every one of these lamps will suffer a broken glass globe in the end, probably when being moved to another room. They will be unlikely to fall over unless you have particularly energetic kids or dogs. Until the globe breaks, your life will be almost unutterably better for having this thing in your room.

Update Edit: I've upgraded my Phillips Hue from gen 2 to gen 4, and the tilt in trick doesn't work any longer. The shape of the bulb is a little flatter unfortunately. I had to disassemble/reassemble carefully which was doable. Still very happy with purchase I love this lamp, it looks great. I don't have any issues with lamp stability, and the lamp shade feels sturdy. I used a philips hue in it, and when i first went to put it on, I panicked. Don't worry - it will fit! Other reviewers discuss 'finessing' it in, and another reviewer had difficulty figuring it out and disassembled the lamp shade - that's not necessary! I will tell you specifically how to get it in - on the inner lip of the lamp shade, you will see that 75% of the ring has an extra layer on it, and 25% doesn't. You're going to want to tilt the philips hue light into the 25% that doesn't, and it will barely fit in. So if you can't 'tilt' it in make sure you try rotating the lamp shade.

La lámpara es divina. Viene en una caja protegida con unicel, desarmada pero es fácil de instalar. La esfera se enrosca para asegurar que no se caiga. Trae incluido el foco de led de luz cálida. Me gustó que el cable es transparente y el interruptor está accesible para prender y apagar con el pie.

muy bella la lampara, todo llegó en perfecto estado, lo unico es que pense que era mas alta
