We have loved this press and used it for about a year. however, all of a sudden the machine stopped heating. the fuse is not the issue. what can i do?

It could be the power switch. I had to take the toggle out of mine. I have had this press since 2008! I have only had to replace the power toggle switch and it started working again! Super easy to replace your self. Take the back of the machine off and look at the wires around the switch to see if anything was burnt!

Help! I just got this today and cannot get it to open! What am I doing wrong?

This happened to me! I had to grab a hammer to pry open while I put my foot on top to hold it down. It finally opened. After doing that for at least 20 shirts, it is a lot easier to open. It’s almost like it needs WD40 which I haven’t tried yet but want to put on the knob because I can not turn that thing to save my life.

No, this one isn’t made by fancierstudio. I actually bought this one and it didn’t heat up then return it then got the fancierstudio brand. It’s a little bit cheaper but much more better. For some reason, this power press has great ratings til this year. Not sure if they changed it. I am sure it’s a good power press but not the one they sent me. Also there’s no way reaching customer service if you need help

Is the bottom plate stainless steel?

the bottom plate is a soild metal with a thick rubber mat on top. Being stainless steel or not has no relevance to the operation of the machine. The heating mechanism is all on the top plate.
