Professional Dog & Cat, Small Animals Nail Clippers & Trimmers

Did a nice job trimming nails on my #70 dog that had gotten too far gone to walk down. Clean, crisp cuts with little effort (loss of strength and function due to accident). Would recommend for anyone looking to maintain pets general health.

This just saved me $35 per dog for nail trimming! I have always been nervous to trim my dogs nails. I have tried the dremel type, but that would take 100 years to get our large dog nails trimmed, and neither dog nor person had the patience for it. It took a bit for our 1.5 year 90 lb golden retriever to settle with use, but after just a bit we were able to get his nail trimmed in about a minute! I really like the nail protection blade, limiting the length being trimmed to avoid injury. Gratefully, the Golden’s nails are clear enough I can visualize the quick, but for our Australian Shepherd, hers are dark black so I just went short and cautious. Easy to use and handle. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

I have a 65lb Lab mix who absolutely hates having her paws touched. I’ve gone through three different cheap pairs of clippers from local pet stores, and they always seemed to dull out fast, which ended up pinching or crushing her nails instead of cutting them cleanly. These Gonicc clippers are a total game-changer. They are incredibly sharp—literally just one clean, quick snip and it’s done. No jagged edges, no splitting. The safety guard is also a nice peace of mind feature so I don't accidentally go too short, though you still have to pay attention obviously. The grip feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, which helps when you have a squirmy dog. The little hidden nail file in the handle is a cute touch, though I don't use it a ton. Definitely worth the buy if you do grooming at home.

They work very well on a very large dog. My dog doesn’t like his paws even touched, so I was skeptical I could get his nails done by myself. Very easy to use, quick guard works well and they clip first time on his very thick nails.

Really sharp. Good quality and sturdiness.

I’m very happy with these dog nail clippers and wish I had purchased them sooner. Trimming my dog’s nails used to be stressful because I was always worried about cutting too far or crushing the nail. These clippers feel much more controlled and secure, which has made the process easier for both of us. The heavy-duty stainless steel blades are extremely sharp and make clean cuts without requiring a lot of pressure. I appreciate that the blades are designed to help prevent splitting and crushing, especially because my dog’s nails are thick and can be difficult to trim with ordinary clippers. The built-in safety stop is another feature I find reassuring. It helps limit how far the nail can go into the cutting area, giving me extra confidence and reducing the risk of reaching the sensitive quick. The handles are comfortable and have a non-slip grip, so I can maintain steady control even when my dog moves slightly. They also feel sturdy without being unnecessarily heavy, and my hand does not become tired after trimming several nails. One of my favorite details is the hidden mini nail file in the handle. It is convenient to smooth rough edges immediately after clipping without needing to search for another tool. This leaves my dog’s paws looking neater and feeling more comfortable. These clippers have helped me maintain a regular grooming routine at home and have saved me trips to the groomer for simple nail trims. They seem suitable for medium and large dogs, particularly those with thick nails. I would recommend them to pet owners who want a dependable, comfortable, and beginner-friendly grooming tool. Five stars for the sharp blades, safety design, and thoughtful built-in file and high quality material.

I used these nail clippers for my dog, and they worked well while they were functioning. They were easy enough to use, comfortable to hold, and made clean cuts without requiring a lot of effort. Unfortunately, the clippers broke after only a handful of uses. That's disappointing because I liked how they performed when they were working, but I expected them to last considerably longer with normal use. I'd recommend them based on how well they cut, but the durability is a concern. If you're looking for something for occasional use, they may work well, but I wouldn't count on them for long-term use based on my experience.

Finally - One that works! I clipped my medium size Shetland Sheepdog's nails for the first time. The clippers are precise, sturdy, quick and clean. My dog hardly even knew I did it! The nail guard stays in place, unlike other clippers, and makes quick precision cuts easy. The finishing file is a bit small. I don't know if I will use it, but I still HIGHLY recommend this nail clipper. The cut is so clean I may not need the file anyway. I tossed All of my old nippers that I have used over the years on our previous dogs. Molly and I are both Happy Campers.

excellent product for the price would i liked it a lot and the sharpness was great!!!

My 16 year old whippet would never leave me trim his nails, instead I have to take him to the groomers just for nails! It cost me $18 each time, it adds up. He has had sone health issues and he is quite skinny at the moment and he needed a trim, but I was a bit too conscious about the looks at him he would get there, where they know him, he is doing treat considering a week ago I thought he was going to leave us anytime. This situation prompted me to purchase this cutter. Today my son held him and I used the clippers on him. The attachment at the back helped me enormously to gauge myself and I cut all 10 front ones and a couple from the hind legs. One of them bled a tad, but after applying some corn flour it stopped. Nice and sharp, easy to go through his tough nails, some needed a bit more pressure though. Overall, I’m thrilled with the purchase!

Nice little clippers, bought as a replacement for an old set so I could have a new sharp set for my ancient rabbit needing a trim. He's an incredibly old eldritch beast of a rabbit and feels very birdboned so I tend to prefer to be very gentle when handling him which luckily he is more than happy to tolerate. The blades are sharp, the mechanism is smooth when you squeeze and you get a nice quick chop out of it with good control so I'm glad we bought these. They do have a quick guard to control the amount you trim but we have not needed it as our cryptid's nails grow very fast and I always need to take off a little more than the guard allows and I tend to go for speed doing these jobs (luckily for me his claws are all white/clear enough to see the quick) but it does just slide out of the way easily when you're not using it so that's great. We got the smaller size as rabbit claws aren't known to be super chunky but I reckon it would work well for most small/medium dog breeds as well, honestly. Good value for money, sturdy, thick comfortable handle with good grip but not so chunky you can't maneuver when needed. Fastest nail trim session in a while. Eldritch beast approved.
