I want to start by saying that I’m a big fan of this brand and use many of your products on a daily basis. I also understand that this docking station sits in the middle of their product pricing range, which sets certain expectations around performance, design, and value. Overall, this is a very solid product with several standout strengths. What I Liked This dock immediately delivers the premium feel I’ve come to expect from your products. The construction is solid, well finished, and feels built to last. One detail I really appreciate is the very clear labeling of the ports on the back, which makes setup easy and intuitive, especially when dealing with multiple peripherals. It offers all the connections you would realistically need for a home office, and the performance is excellent—stable, reliable, and consistent. Aesthetically, it looks great on a desk and blends naturally into a clean workspace. I particularly like the two USB-A/USB-C ports placed on the front for quick access, while having the USB 3.0 ports on the back allows you to hide dongles and cables for a cleaner look. What truly stands out is the ability to connect up to three monitors, which is a major advantage for productivity-focused users. What Could Be Improved When compared to other docking stations this model feels slightly bulkier than necessary. I love the premiumness and would highly recommend it if it is within your price range. Performance and flexibility, as most things with this brand are fantastic.

I bought this to resolve a persistent beeping noise caused by a USB incompatibility issue with my monitors, and it finally fixed the problem! Despite being lightweight, it handles all my peripherals perfectly—including my microphone, webcam, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and keypad. It even supports an extra dongle if I need more ports. The design is sleek and fits neatly on my desk, making cable management much easier. The connection is fast and stable with no glitches when connecting my Lenovo ThinkPad. It also arrived in very secure packaging and the build quality feels solid. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable hub!

Product looked nice and had all the connections I needed. Could not get two monitors to work together, had to plug one into my computer and the other into this. And yes my computer supports multiple monitors. Product charged my computer, and everything worked well. After about 6 weeks the docking station just flat quit working. Update. Tobenone contacted me and asked for more details about what was wrong with the unit. I replied with more details, then they wanted me to send them photos of how I had the unit connected, restart my computer ect. I never responded to this insult to my intelligence, and just figured I lost out. A week or two later I was contacted again and offered a full refund, I accepted, and they refunded the money the next day. Another week or so later I was contacted again and offered a free replacement with no obligation from me. I replied that I had already been refunded, but if they wanted to send a new one that would be fine. They did. So, I feel it's the right thing to do to give an updated review of the product. Connected up the new dock and I am happy to say everything appears to be working perfectly. Both of my external monitors are working in extend mode, this did not work on the old dock, only duplicate mode worked. All charging power on the old dock quit working after about 4 weeks. The new dock is charging my computer and phone simultaneously, confirmed printer worked with usb attached to this device and downloaded the picture via the sd card reader. The product both old one and new one is larger than the dimensions listed, actual size is 3.5x3.5x3.5 inches. This was a problem I have a mobile office in an R.V. when I initially ordered this product, I was building a custom desk (desk in photo is in my warehouse not the rv), with a slot for the unit, its 1/8 too small for this to fit due to their specs on size being off. All in all, I like the unit, but am not completely confident It will work in the long run, we shall see. I will give them 5 stars for customer service, but due to the overall experience and their lack of quality control for the time being I think they only deserve 3 stars, if the unit last longer than a year and this review is still here I will up it to a 4. Update 11/2/23 on replacement unit. Worked as described above for two weeks. Now I am sad to say, it will work only with one monitor. Removed the second HDMI cable from the back of the unit and plugged it into the HDMI port on my laptop, both monitors and computer working fine. Moved working connection to second HDMI input and monitor does not work. It appears the second HDMI port is not functioning. And yes, I tried restarting my computer etc. Back to one star rating. I will continue to operate with the second monitor plugged into my laptop to see if anything else starts not working.

First, it's important to understand my setup: I use a single ultra-wide monitor. A KVM switch is connected to allow me to swap between my personal computer and work computer easily. The KVM Switch is set up in a way that the USB peripherals (mouse and keyboard) are connected to the dock and the video out from the dock is connected to my KVM switch so that the KVM switch operates as one would expect. I use my set up for software development, and I have tested two laptops with the dock: 1. Dell Vostro 7590; Intel i7 9750H and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (Mobile); Windows 11 2. Dell Precision 5560; Intel i7 11850H and NVIDIA RTX A2000 Laptop GPU; Windows 10 Both of these machines identify the dock as a slow-charging dock, but that's because they both require a minimum of 90W, and this dock delivers 87W through power delivery - I knew this when purchasing. In practice I've had no issues with the dock charging the laptops through normal use, though I do not do any sort of gaming with the two laptops. The dock has adequate connections on the front panel: Headphone/microphone 3.5mm combo jack, SD, micro SD, 2x USB-C 10 Gbps and a USB 3.1. The rear panel has the following connections: 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 2x HDMI, 1x Displayport, Power Input, 1Gbps Ethernet, and a USB-C (Host) port. It was all plug-and-play and no drivers were installed that required elevated privileges. I've tested all connections and they seem to work no with issues. The dock does have two anti-slip rubber feet that extend across the length of the unit from the front to the back; one one the left and one on the right. The problem is that the dock doesn't have much weight to it, and if your cables become twisted in a way that applies downward force to the back or front of the unit it is most likely going to lift off of its surface. Otherwise, I enjoy the dock's aesthetic design (except for the clunky power supply). It should be said that I did have an issue with my initial dock in that it seemed to randomly disconnect from my machine. Customer support was very swift in sending out a replacement. The new dock resolved the connectivity issues. Overall I think it's a great value. When compared to other docks that provide similar functionality, the TOBENONE dock consistently had a smaller price tag - though I just really wish TOBENONE had sprung for the extra 3W of power delivery. I know it's difficult to justify a purchase of a device at this price point that is not a household name (especially considering all of the grammatical issues on their promotional images), but I was pleasantly surprised and can personally speak for their excellent customer service.

For the price, this has turned out to be a wonderful solution. Two monitors, webcam, mouse, keyboard, etc. and just ONE cable to my laptop!

UPDATE: I am Happy to say that it looks like my issues have been resolved. Anita from customer service immediately reached out to me with concerns about the problem I was having and walked me through the process to solve the problem. My docking station is at 100 percent now and I was assured that they will stand by there product. You don’t often see a company give you a two year warranty on electronics. It’s good to know that I am covered for any issues. I really like this docking station and am looking forward to any new products that they introduce in the future. UPDATE: I was impressed with this docking station, I have used it daily for short periods. Today is day 10 and I powered up my laptop and my monitor was not recognized. I have never had this problem when connecting through the hdmi directly through the laptop. I was frustrated, I ended up having to totally disconnect the docking station from everything and start over from scratch to get the hdmi to work again. I have only connected 1 monitor so far so not sure what will happen if I try to connecting another. I am hoping that this is a one time glitch but thinking of returning it before my return period expires. I was looking for a docking station for my Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, I bought my laptop so that I can use it wherever I want and not be tied down and be able to edit photos and video wherever I go. Once I started to set up my workstation I realized it would not be that easy, when I wanted to load data from my sd card reader I would have to pull it out to get to the right port. I ended up hooking up a monitor and wireless mouse and keyboard so now I have more things to disconnect to take it with me. Now I want to get a second monitor and an external hard drive and that will be more things to connect, making it not very convenient to just pick it up and go. I ordered this docking station thinking that I would only have to disconnect my power supply and this dock so it would make it easier.(Only two cords to disconnect) I didn’t think it would work but I disconnected my main power supply and just used this plugged into my power delivery port and it is working great, all I have to do is unplug the one usb-c port and my laptop is free to move. (Easier than expected) Now all I have to do when I get back to my workstation is plug in the one port and I have the Tobenone docking station right in front of my main monitor with all the ports I need. Looking forward to get a second monitor and hard drive and it will still only be one cord to remove to move it. Actually thinking about getting a second docking station so that I can easily move it between my office and man cave. So far I am loving this and it is nice to have a sd card port and any other connections within reach without have to move anything. I will update this review if I have any problems but so far this seems like a well built and solid piece of hardware.

I recently swapped my old desktop computer for a laptop with two external monitors, and I needed a docking station. This TobenOne is perfect. It's sleek, compact, does everything I need, works great and looks nice on my desk. When it comes to tech, I don't care how it works, I don't want to have to put it together, I just want it to do what I need. My husband installed this dock and said it was easy, and I was hovering nearby, so I know it only took a few minutes. Unfortunately, the first one we got had some connectivity issues. My external monitors would blink every 15-30 minutes, sometimes independently, sometimes together. I emailed TobenOne customer service and received a prompt reply with some suggestions for solutions. That didn't work, and they promptly replaced the unit. The new one works perfectly. The company's service and follow-up is outstanding.

Bought this in June and it worked really well for the first month. For the last mi th or do it loses connection a lot. If you bump the box the video goes out. Just wiggle the cables a bit and they come back (and yes the cables are good quality and plugged in tight). Skis at least once a day my keyboard and mouse just stop working. I have to unplug the usb c cable and plug it back in. I really wanted to like this. It’s great when it behaves. It just doesn’t always behave.
